The use of the word "scum" for mags

Me dad was just laughing in the ticket office after some bloke asked the wife behind the till for a ticket to the scum match

If anything this particular word shows a lack of imagination. I've noticed on other boards that it is common for a team's supporters to refer to their rivals simply as 'the scum'.

Far better to aim a specific jibe at your rivals - you calling us the skunks or the barcodes, or us calling you the jamrags or whatever is more effective than the completely redundant 'scum'.

Are you the least conspicuous undercover Mag ever?

f***ing idiot.

Read his post history, nothing conspicuous at all. His username is a bit strange mind.

It's Hashtag/football's alter ego. With this one though he doesn't really hide his hatred of all things SAFC related very well though.

How do you stop past history impacting on the future.
I am uncomfortable with much of this.

I came to footie quite late and still remember being astonished when a boss of mine who was a Mag used language about Sunderland club and fans that should have had him sacked.

I looked at him over the table in the restaurant and told him I was a fan of the club, he didn't speak to me properly again; and that is how I started to take an interest. That was in the 90's.

For all that I don't want to be a red and white version of him
