The US and the Holocaust on BBC

The music ones , Jazz and country were both really informative too. As was Vietnam , he doesnt do rubbish
I haven`t seen the music ones but Vietnam was excellent too. He did one on the Great War, (called The War, I think) as well which is well worth watching

No, I think you`re right - it was WWII, I was thinking of a different WWI documentary. Burn`s documentary was more about the lives of individuals and life at home during the war more than focussing on the conflict although that did come into it. It`s been quite a while since I watched it.

Also, his Muhammad Ali doc and, to a lesser degree, Hemingway. Both were on BBC last year and may still be on iPlayer (or not).
Peter Coyote as the narrator certainly adds to the telling of the stories.

His voice reminds me of Tom Hanks (actually thought it was Hanks initially).

Think he may have been an Executive Producer.

Ken Burns' Documentaries are immense. Id love to buy them, does anyone know where you can??
You can get a few on YouTube. At least you could. I watched his history of Baseball that way. It was excellent of course. I love how he works primary sources into his narratives.
