I am steadily working my way through the original US 60's episodes (available on US Netflix). They are a bit of a mixed bag but it's interesting to see how the budgets must have grown through each series and the quality of the actors recruited increases. I'm part way through series 3 and just had Peter Falk (Columbo) playing a Central American revoutionary. Loads of other famous faces in early roles - Jack Klugman, Mickey Goldmill (Rocky's old trainer), Charles Bronson, etc.
