Mignolet made one save. Yea sure, 30 yard lofty volleys which are caught by the keeper go down on the opta stats as a shot............
And Bardsley could have had a nap in the time it would have taken that ball to cross the line.

Bent had two free headers and missed the target. Richardson had the ball on his left peg, alone, about 14 yards out, and blazed over. Far better chances than Dempsey shooting from f***ing miles away. Then our breakaway which we fucked up, which was a great chance, but of course, there's no stats for that.

Defensively, I've never felt so comfortable. They had one chance.
At last someone who watched and understands the game

Have they got free coaches on yet again? What a sorry set of supporters.I can't stand Bolton, I really hope we hammer them again. It's going to be a tough game though.

Surely that's a good thing and you would praise Quinny if he did it?

I more or less agreed with what he said but as I was on my way to being very drunk whilst watching the match I couldnt verify it:oops:

Seems I still retain some drunken memories:cool:

Later today Roker Report will have views on our game from Marc Iles, Sports reporter for The Bolton News.

And of course Fan Focus on Friday & Sunday...

This will be a difficult game. We will need to be at our best to get anything from it.
I'm hoping for a win but expecting to draw.
Have to say in relation to Bolton fans, went down there last season and we went in a pub and the locals were very ignorant, unfriendly. No banter at all.
To the Bolton fan looking in here I say well done on your season so far, hope you have an off day this week !;)

This made me larf:

I don't mind Sunderland at all,

Many years ago a few of us were walking behind what used to be Bolton Tech, on the way to BW V Sunderland, intending on calling into the 'King Bill' for a few before the match, when a white tranny (van that is); pulled up in front of us. The back doors flew open and a load of mackems spilled out. Thinking 'Oh F*ck! Here we go' I turned to see a lot of my so called mates hot-footing it down the road. Chief mackem shouted something at the three of us who were left. When asked if he spoke english, he tried his best, and we worked out they were looking for a pub. In those days, away fans weren't welcome in pubs around the ground at all, not many landlords allowed 'em in. We went in the back of the van, showed them somewhere (safe ish) to park and headed into the back of the King Bill. As we were regulars on matchdays, the landlord, who's name I forget, let them stay. We did not pay for a drink all afternoon and had one of the best times I've ever had at the footy. So for that alone, I've always had a soft spot for 'em. We'll still win 1-2 on sat though.

I think we're talking about the same one. See post #81. Warthog I think he was called. A right ******* he was.

Sounds about right. On this subject (given that Jaaskelainen was the rumoured target which caused so much resentment towarss us), can bwfcdan explain to me why Jussi is revered so much by Bolton fans, despite the fact he is utter horseshite and drops more clangers than almost any other goalkeeper?

Is this a joke

No, he's f***ing shit. He spends half of his time on his arse or his belly, flapping around like a ****. The goal he let in all those years ago from Allan Johnston appears to have been the first of many "******* moments".

Oh dear

both Davies K and Elmander wont be there much longer due to age and running down their contract[/QUOTE]

I dont think its any coincidence that Elmanders contract is up at the end of this season and suddenly he finds a bit of form???

And having buses laid on (which they haven't) means that they are a sorry set of supporters for what reason exactly??
