The Titus bollocks tonight.....

What the fuck was all that about like? if it was sarcasm aimed at his footballing ability, then fuck off you sad twats

It wasn't even remotely funny...

I thought it was positive and not sarcasm at all. He slotted right in and was bossing readings players like children.

Sounded like they were supporting him to me. I would have taken it that way if I was him. He played really well (apart from the shot) so it may well have inspired him.

That's how I took it. Started a bit tongue in cheek but he never put a foot wrong after. Well played sir.

Thought it was just a bit of craic really rather than being intended as abusive? Everyone was in good spirits for wants and just enjoying it.

This.

I was joining in with the cheering and that, but it was in recognition of Titus coming on and doing a good job.

No malice involved - i thought that was obvious to everyone, including Titus himself.

Well I'm glad Titus took it he same way as me. The performance he gave certainly looked like he was taking it positively.

The waving and the shagging chants are just daft lads being daft. It's not taking the piss out of him.

I love Titus in the same way I loved Nyron. Not the best but they don't have give everything they've got. Nyron fell over and done a roll on the pitch 4 years ago and it's still talked about now!

Nyron wasn't a very good footballer, limited at best. Titus has the ability to be quality, lacks concentration though.

It did sound like a piss take but others, including Titus himself, seemed to think it was serious. No harm done then I suppose.

it was just the reaction to him coming on too, made it seem like a sarcy pisstake to me.
Its not like weve been crying out for him to come and save our season, or that his abilitys were gonna lift us up to the next level . hes never had a reception like that before, and hadn't played lately to warrant one, it was if he'd gained cult status in the seconds it took him to take his jacket off.

and honestly, singing that "shags when he wants", would you really want to be reminded that people keep trying to label you a rapist?
if someone got off with a nonce allegation would we sing about that in a jokey manner too?

I genuinely believed it was all a bit of loveable daftness and support as he hadn't played in a while. I didn't think there was any malice in it at all!! There better not have been anyway  ...I love that man!! Love him!!!

Although I was in the NW upper, that's the way it came across to me.

While it's not the sort of thing I would join in with, the 'shags who he wants' chant is hardly the worst thing sung at a match.

At least there's a bit of wit involved. The lad carries some well publicised baggage but no convictions, it's derived from Fletcher's chant, but the humour element lies in the fact that it's completely tasteless.

Frankie Boyle and Ricky Gervais have made whole careers out of far more offensive material.

After a few we can stand when we want and. Stephen fletcher he scores when he wants chants the....

Titus shags when he wants was canny funny tho

Its f*cking embarassing and sounds like something the mags would sing against him yet our own sing it to him. Do you think the lad wants reminding of that all over again and the fact he cannot get on with his football career without us bringing it up all the time. And the patronizing cheers everytime he touched the ball.

For every lad in the south stand who are great at getting the crowd going and making some decent chants there always seem to be a bunch of that follow.

This, I bet he wasn't impressed.

Especially that shags who he wants chant, it's basically saying he's a rapist.

I dont understand this he got off, in a court of law he was found not guilty, I for one think it was all in good jest and believe him to be a solid defender on his day
