The reality is mate; something leaked today that should never have been common knowledge and I dare say someone is now in trouble. Since then we have seen local journalists in a flap because they are out of the loop; and pretty much radio silence from the club.

I think it’s fair to say we are in talks with someone, but it could still be in the early stages.

have not heard that expression for years

It seems tensions are at breaking point, some people are close to the edge mate, this uncertainty is killing them.:lol:

Wouldn't be so bad but it's literally his only input to a thread like this about the club he's meant to support. Couldn't care less about something that would be massively beneficial to the club but gets his knickers in a twist over a saying he thinks is overused

Whether Quinn comes or not.. we're still shit.

It doesn't make sense anyway. Why buy a club months before it gets relegated? Better wait until we're in L1 then put in a cheaper bid. Until I see a club statement I'm calling bullshit.

TBF the thread that got pulled the other day mentioned that a potential takeover deal would hinge on us being relegated so I'd assume that any bid/discussions may well be on that basis, especially considering how likely it is looking.

It makes sense to start negotiations now tbf. Maybe with two different offers depending on what league we start in but due diligence can take a long time. We might not know what league we'll be in until May (albeit we all expect to know sooner). If they wait until then, then start negotiating, we'l probably miss the summer transfer window. If they have funds to give us we couldn't spend them, players might not join while there's uncertainty, it could put the whole plan back a year
