If he’s putting his money in he will want us to do well and imagine the meltdown of the mags when ‘one of their own’ is investing in us rather than them :D

Aye.
If a mag took us ower and got us above the mags.
I would find it rather amusing to say the least :D

Why so? Not having a go, just genuinely asking a question.

If it is true - IF then how can he possibly truly want Sunderland to succeed?

You just can't truly want success at Sunderland if you are a Newcastle fan.

Your heart is contradicted and that is a fact.

IF he is a Newcastle fan. Nothing is confirmed at all and it may be total rubbish.

Because if Sunderland succeed, then he makes loads of money!

Tbf he's probably more of a businessman than an actual fan. Supporting a team doesn't put anything on the table at the end of the day.

And there are different degrees to being a fan. He might claim to be a Newcastle fan but it might not mean that much to him.

He's Irish. He's a much a Mag fan as the kids I saw running around Bristol in 1996 when I moved here. With these people, business is business.

Tbh mate, does it really matter that much? Most of all we need someone who knows what he's doing?

Actually, the last thing we need are owners who the fans expect to be sugar daddies pumping in as much cash as they want. For one thing, there'd never be enough - look at everyone from Man Utd downwards whingeing about "tight owners". We need hard-headed businessmen who'll run the club properly.
