The Sun Banned

Fuck the sun.

I couldn't care less how many buy it, what difference is gonna make to our season?

If other fans think we are pathetic then so be it, we ain't running a popularity contest.

Fuck them all.

I know I noticed when I read the paper this morning I nearly spat my tea out f***ing cheek of it Derland, it's as if they are calling us thick c unts.

f***ing calling us Derland. Every time they mention us it's Derland. That's the last time I will be buying that rag.

Why buy the thing in the first place?

Is it for the funny headlines or the news on Kelly Brook's private life?

Graeme Anderson arguing with Steve Brenner, David Coverdale et all on twitter yesterday about it was even more embarrassing. The first thing he done was used the mags as an example for banning the journal and the chronicle. They have nothing to do with each other and saying on a social forum that they are worse just made us look even more small time.

both justified bans though, the sun will throw their toys out of the pram to show what cretins they are, I'm amazed Simon bird is allowed at St James ever again after his Joe kinnear lies.

I think ours is a bit petty to be honest mate. Graeme Anderson using the 'they are worse' when they've nothing to do with it is cringeworthy.

What, my analogy?

Bit of a tortured debate, this.

Journo sees team. Journo posts team. Club is upset. Paper reacts by implying that the jouno didn't see team, and it was simply a prediction. Club bans paper.

Now, there are a few blanks. Maybe the club explicitly asked the paper to refrain from posting the team, maybe they didn't. That seems to be the crux of it. It makes it either betrayal of trust or a tantrum.

We can either ignore the whole thing, or pick a side. I pick Sunderland. Some have picked The Sun, while others choose whataboutery. Ignoring the whole thing was probably the best course of action.

I've just picked it up by accident,at my annual call to Mother-in-laws,and got so incensed I used google to try and fathom out the reason for being so utterly stupid.I vowed years ago after the way families of Hillsborough were treated I would never even read this evil evil bogpaper. I'm now trying to sanitise my hands.

Yes, there are a few blanks, which I would hope that the club would provide to allow us to make a better decision than based purely on allegiance. Cut away all that emotive nonsense about 'sides' and that's what I've been saying all along.

Well I read it for the balanced argument over the continuing membership of the EU combined with the Scottish independence campaign. This along with the detailed political situation degenerating in the Crimea shows their finely tuned sense of responsibility. The critique of their deep understanding of the Cook Islands and relative political relationships with Australia is beyond compare. Combine this output with the in-depth interviewing of the ladies who are part of the paper on Page 3 and you cannot deny that a well balanced publication is available to all fish and chip shops throughout the UK for wrapping purposes.
