The stewarding and arrangents for away supporters at Stoke

I have never ever blamed the victims.

Prove I have and I'll promise, here and now, that I'll never post on here ever again.

There's your challenge you pompous little scrote ........... come on, prove your accusations and I'm gone for good.

You i) criticised the families of the deceased campaigning for justice ii) criticised those who wouldn't buy the sun iii) criticised Sunderland supporters who supported JFT96 with the flag at Liverpool away. You also said a) there were thousands of ticketless fans at Hillsborough b) of which an 'overwhelming number' behaved badly and that c) the fact Liverpool fans don't blame themselves for the tragedy (as the inquest agreed) is a 'reason to hate Liverpool'.

Why so much anger tonight Rivs? Lots of insults coming from your direction. Had a bad day?

Every question was met with 'shut up or your tickets will be taken off you',

When I fired up the video, on my phone, to record their attitude, they said if I didn't stop filming they'd take our tickets

Since the events in Paris our clubs stewards have decided it's ok to virtually strip search everyone going through the turnstiles and these fcukers take it to extremes.

All through the winter months ive had to lift up my hat (even though it's tight to my head), remove my gloves and every external layer before getting frisked from head to toe.

I've also seen kids under the age of 16 getting frisked, which I was sure was illegal!

It doesn't help that they are run by an external company with new faces every other week. It's a joke.

100% hysterical bullshit

"I can assure you that if affects me the same way and I feel just as deeply about the victims and their families.

I'm a football supporter and have had a few close shaves, on my own and with my 3 sons, so but for the grace of God, etc.

Apart from that brief post I'll keep off this thread, out of respect, until this all becomes a little less raw."

And later,

"I'll repeat what has been misquoted, explain what people didn't understand, correct quite a few points.

Whatever's left I'll apologise for as I've already done regarding the estimation of how many didn't have tickets.

If people don't keep responding and tagging me I'll leave now."

I asked the steward if he wanted me to strip to my underwear to see if I had an offensive weapon ;)

None of those quotes can take away the numerous quotes attributed to you over the years in regards to the tragedy. You had your chance on the hillsborough thread to hold your hands up and accept you'd been well wide of mark but you didn't which is pretty disgusting given the things you've said.

Had a class day mate cheers. All the lads were good crack and I made sure I made the most of it and had a good laugh. Been feeling it today like, can't handle the 15 hour sesh anymore
Ha ha - it's paving the way for a classic "When I was a lad" stories. It ended a lot better than it looked like it was going to. So.....Watford by train, bus or what?:lol:

I'll answer all of that in good time when people have stopped being hysterical and jumping on the 'moral bandwagon'.

The trouble on there is that there are too many people screaming insults, and firing off bad language, to anyone with a different point of view.

They're so stuck in their entrenched opinions that they just shout without thinking.

I'll be back on there, when I'm ready, but if you hadn't noticed this is a different thread.

Don't be like Haway and appear obsessed with me and just ignore the thread subject .........

From me on the Hillsborough thread,

Be quiet, he'll reply in 'due course'...

He'll definitely not play the 'victim' though. You know, the very behaviour he has slated Liverpool fans for in the past.

to be fair, i know a few stewards at the SOL who have been told that sports grounds everywhere are number one security priorities after the Paris attacks and to thoroughly search as many as they can, which given staffing levels can be difficult.
I'll take a bit extra security in that event but some just seem to as you say take it to extremes, a pat down isn't going to stop me wedging a knife up my arsecrack, i've even seen lads sneaking flares/smokebombs by hoying them inside burgers or under a load of chips in a tray.

You kept saying that the Lpool fans had 'contributed' - even 'just a little' - to Hillsborough. Would you say that the SAFC fans on Saturday 'contributed' to the overcrowding - even if 'just a little'.

The position you hold on Hillsborough is mental when you try and apply it to other situations.
I think you need to put the drink down.

I agree this isn't the thread for it and won't press it further I just thought you playing the woe is me card was a little rich given your comments.

Any contribution to the thread ............. errr, no as usual.

How, in anyway, could anyone think I'm doing that

Are the other people mentioning the stewards, including Stokie, on this thread all playing the 'woe is me' card ..... dear me, it gets worse.

By reading the thread........
I had no issue on my one trip to Stoke but I have no idea what happened yesterday so I wouldn't dream of apportioning blame to anybody without having a clue what went on so I'll leave you to it.

I contributed plenty to the thread where you ducked out of a £500 bet you f***ing coward. With numerous others for that matter.

Stick to posting your shit opinions occasionally interjecting with wanky anecdotes about how you experienced something back in 1980-odd when a steward gave you a cheeky nod, etc.

The one where I posted my details to the nominated poster and you 'went to kip' only to accept the bet at 3am on Saturday morning

Steward yesterday to my grandson "How old are you"
Grandson "14"
Steward "open your coat" (no please) and proceeds to frisk him
Mind he is a big sod for 14

They were simply taking advantage of a yellow jacket to act out their inferiority complexes to people at a match while they were earning a fiver an hour imo.

Yes, that one. The one where I was chasing you all day for the solution on the Friday and you didn't reply at all.

When I did accept, conceding and putting the money at what I'd call a decent sized risk you claimed that while you could converse via internet/e-mail you had no access to internet banking. You dropped your arse completely.

Still think a bookie will take a private bet? You're a total f***ing idiot, man.

I suggested an escrow account with a solicitor's office all day long ....... you accepted at 7pm, on Friday night, knowing they'd be closed.
