The stewarding and arrangents for away supporters at Stoke

True enough mate, they turn up and really support the team all the way through.

Fortunately they're surrounded by enough decent people to keep them in check.

Being good supporters doesn't justify racism though. Hope they get banned from all SAFC games.

Right. So the rules of the board are that people are allowed to persistently blame Liverpool fans for the deaths of 96 people over a period of years, but people can't point out the hypocrisy in those positions, and how ludicrous they appear when used in reference to contexts outside of Hillsborough?
It's all about context, and you got it wrong by a mile. I think you know that unless I've misjuged you. I've made a point of not becoming embroiled in the hillsbrough debate as it is an emotive issue for me. Who is right or wrong in this case is irrelevant, you shouldn't have posted what you did and I think you know it.

I think my comment was misjudged, particularly given to anyone who had no context on what I was getting at it would look like I was saying the opposite of what I was. And if it has upset you - then I am sorry - because I didn't intend that. I don't think it was disrespectful though, or the intent certainly wasn't.

Please, please, please get this reported to the FSF. Malcolm Clarke is high up at the FSF and is a huge Stoke fan with close links to our supporter council. It will get some serious coverage and air time.

I'm sad and glad that you had to go through this. Sad for obvious reasons but glad because our Supporters Council has been trying to get the club to expand the concourses for quite some time, with a negative response from the club. Something needs to be done and the more complaints they get, the better it will be for both home and away fans. We've asked the club about extending the capacity slightly by reducing the width of the segregation but the concourse size was used as an excuse.

Our ground was built to a tight budget back in 97 under the old version of our current owners and it really shows. There were corners cut all over the place and it needs a serious upgrade. It's only just about fit for purpose. We deserve better than that. I could bore you all night with the nitty gritty of the problems from everthing down to the parking and access but I'll spare you the details.

As for the stewards, if they are like the ones i have to deal with then yes, they are over zealous and heavy handed but rest assured they aren't local! Most of the one's I deal with are from bloody Manchester! Complete twats they are.

Sorry you had to go through that. Cheers.

Mate, I posted the message below on the Hillsborough thread out of respect to the families and the thread.

Having seen my message this bellend decides to bring the issue onto a totally unrelated thread.

If he had any respect for the families of the dead, as he keeps claiming, he'd let it lie.

In truth he'll jump on any passing high horse to continue his pathetic grudge........ he has no respect for the 96 or their families and just wants to 'score points'.

From me on the Hillsborough thread,

"I can assure you that if affects me the same way and I feel just as deeply about the victims and their families.

I'm a football supporter and have had a few close shaves, on my own and with my 3 sons, so but for the grace of God, etc.

Apart from that brief post I'll keep off this thread, out of respect, until this all becomes a little less raw."

And later,

"I'll repeat what has been misquoted, explain what people didn't understand, correct quite a few points.

Whatever's left I'll apologise for as I've already done regarding the estimation of how many didn't have tickets.

If people don't keep responding and tagging me I'll leave now."

Your posting history would say otherwise, but whatever, at some point in the vague and distant future you will 'clarify' your victim blaming position on things, and until then everyone should refuse to point out that posts like your OP go to show how ludicrous it is to continue blaming Liverpool fans.
What are you going on about? Has someone blamed Liverpool fans for not being able to get a drink at the Stoke stadium at half time? Are you on smack?

All he knows is point scoring and being an internet troll ........ his interest in SAFC, at such a critical time, is non existent.

He's obsessed mate ....... I never respond to him, in fact no one does, but he keeps following me around like a cloud of midges.

Also for the journey from the Terrace Bar to the ground three busses which was fine. Return journey back to the station only the original three busses with a lot more wanting to use them. When will they learn and put an extra bus on for the return journey as we were packed on like sardines.

The policeman on our bus told us we had to wait to the 31 supporters busses had been let out despite the fact we all had trains to catch.

The bus compound at the ground was also very full this year. Now at a rough count 31 busses out of a sell out allocation is around 1600 travelling by bus. What would happen and where would they parked them if a sell out allocation took say 2000 or so as the compound looked full to me.

The bus situation is stupid. Even the Stoke supporters were complaining hat the should have at least a dozen buses lined up to transport the supporters back to the town centre.

I had no problems getting in, but the concourse was busy.

Why is it disrespectful to the families of the deceased to call you out on your bullshit victim blaming?

How was your minibus experience in the end then marra? - apart from the cost - canny day?
Had a class day mate cheers. All the lads were good crack and I made sure I made the most of it and had a good laugh. Been feeling it today like, can't handle the 15 hour sesh anymore

Every question was met with 'shut up or your tickets will be taken off you',

When I fired up the video, on my phone, to record their attitude, they said if I didn't stop filming they'd take our tickets

What are you going on about? Has someone blamed Liverpool fans for not being able to get a drink at the Stoke stadium at half time? Are you on smack?

You kept saying that the Lpool fans had 'contributed' - even 'just a little' - to Hillsborough. Would you say that the SAFC fans on Saturday 'contributed' to the overcrowding - even if 'just a little'.

The position you hold on Hillsborough is mental when you try and apply it to other situations.

I have never ever blamed the victims.

Prove I have and I'll promise, here and now, that I'll never post on here ever again.

There's your challenge you pompous little scrote ........... come on, prove your accusations and I'm gone for good.

If you can't I'm sure you'll be back with some backtracking squirming shite as usual.
