The stadium you never visited

highly overated.

First time in Barcelona in March.... enjoyed it. Went to the Nou Camp on a tour, it was ok but not what i was expecting.
The place is massive and the pitch etc is brilliant. But little things like the carpet inside all tatty with the paint on the walls crumbling, and the hard floor leading out the pitch was all broken.
Also it was 2 days after a matchday and they hadn't bothered cleaning up any supporters mess so beer cups, papers everywhere etc.

A must see but not all its cracked out to be

Been 3 times, Brilliant stadium always a good trip into to London

On the other hand I never went to Highbury and would of loved to

Aye, went to Highbury a few times. Loads of history and that main stand (the one with the marble halls) just oozed class.

On a similar vein, I would like to visit Eastlands, went to Maine Road a few times though.

Lambeau Field, the MCG, New Wembley and the Maracana.

One day maybe

Haven't they knocked the Maracana down yet? New Wembley is fine, I have been quite a few times, I suppose it ticks boxes.

I'm in Wi and haven't been to the Lambeau either, I can imagine it's bloody freezing though.

possibly the worst cricket ground in the world followed closely by the Gabba

Would still love to see a Boxing Day Ashes test there though mate.

Or the Eagles in another Grand Final.

Thought that Maracana had been re-devoloped but not knocked down?

Lambeau in August, obviously, not December :)

waca will have to do for me this year. all about the dockers though mate ;)

Been plenty of times to the WACA - good ground for viewing, but does need some updating - and the beer they serve is piss !!

Be a LONG time till you see the Dockers in a Grand Final at the 'G mate ;)

Dave youre in luck if its this year yer afta
I know the lassie who works in the Ticket office at the MCG

Unfortunately Xmas Day & Boxing Day already have plans - but thanks for the offer.

Boxing day Ashes would be an awesome one like, I'd love that although I'd have to actually go to Australia which I haven't managed so far.

It looks like they are re-developing, it would indeed be a good one to go to.

I don't blame you, I would avoid winter over here like the plague. I used to have to run along the sea front in shorts through the rain and rain at school; that was no where near as cold as it is over here in December. Sitting in one of those seats at the Lambeau for hours must be unbelievably cold.

I am a season ticket holder at Green Bay!!!....I have been to half of the grounds in the English leagues. I have not been to the New Wembley. I am waiting for the Green Bay Packers or Sunderland to go. Who will be first?

Wow, Sunderland people really are everywhere. I am in Milwaukee and the inlaws grew up more baseball attenders but I keep meaning to try and go to see the Packers. It's bloody expensive like.

I'm going to be in Minnesota this weekend too, couldn't get tickets like but it should be a new experience watching them in a rival place. Nowt like us and the mags of course.

Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Was hoping to go to a Roma game whilst I was there the other month but Lazio were the home side that weekend and theres no chance I'd go to a Lazio game.

luckily im in the members enclosure for the ashes - a/c and full strength beers! i know it will be a long time, at least they are scheduled to actually play there at all next year! :-D

I've been Wembley 3 times, I think it's a shit ground. No atmosphere and too expensive, would love to go there for an FA Cup final with Sunderland though

I'd love to go to the Westfalen stadium in Germany.
