The sporting prowess of india



Light body type , and its too hot or wet to run around , a philosophical pacifist culture not promoting conflict for contact sport , the root to riches for their poor is business and education is prized above athleticism . Hence no boxers etc.
 
Their footy captain has just broke some record. A couple of Indian lads im mates with were going on about it on Facebook the other day.

Not exactly lighting up the board at the Olympics either.

Having spent a canny bit of time over there, I’d say that only the middle/ upper classes have access to sporting facilities and even then they don’t look to modern. The Chinese government obviously rate the sporting kudos much higher
