Eurosport: Kenny Dalglish: "The statement that has always stuck with me throughout my time here is that the club is bigger than any one individual. Anyone who thinks otherwise is being a bit irresponsible in my opinion."

Tim at Sky Bet: Odds on Ashley Young joining Manchester City halved to 6/1 as rumours begin to circulate that Roberto Mancini will move for cover following Adam Johnson's long-term lay-off."

Scott Wilson reckons Riveros could leave today

Hopefully.

Can't see any point in us retaining someone who offers fuck all and clearly hasn't settled.

Surprised Angeleri hasn't been mentioned.

That really does sound like they are preparing for him to be off

Which is brilliant news for us. Liverpool without the player they depend so heavily on and they'll probably go for Carroll

A big man who gets his fair share of goals but is the wrong side of 30, could he have been an option for us?

The Editor: Looks like Aston Villa are getting closer to announcing capture of Borussia Monchengladbach's Michael Bradley. Awaiting official confirmation from Villa Park that a deal is done.

Some decent business by Houllier this window to be honest, but he has alot to prove because he's been backed to the hilt with Funds.

I'm a big fan of Makoun and said a few seasons ago we should have tried to sign him. Bent...well, as much as he's a wanker, he'll get goals and Bradley had a canny world cup (all I've seen of him)

Did they sign anyone else?

His goals have dried up now. 17 in 71 I believe

Alot of sub appearances marra.
