Got a few I've watched recently

Avengers Endgame
8/10

Brilliant end to saga. Definitely didn't seem like it was on 3hrs.

Fighting with my family
7/10

Decent story about how Paige rose to fame. Its got a cracking cast but I'm not sure why The Rock was so heavily involved in the advertising campaign though , he's only in it for a few scenes. I used to watch wrestling back when it was WWF but I'd never heard of Paige at all.

Extremely Wicked
7/10

Nothing I haven't seen or read about Bundy before. The only reason it's getting a high score is cos of Efron, not his usual type of role and I thought he played Bundy extremely well.

Mystic river 2002 (available on Netflix)

Oscar nominations galore and win for Sean penn

Brilliant performances and forgot that was a Clint Eastwood movie. That bloke is ridiculously talented.

8/10

Also on Netflix marra
Class film but I'm biased cos Dennis Lehane is one of my favourite authors, Robins and Penn are class actors and were cast superbly

Disobedience - 6/10

A bit slow. Rachel Weisz (Ronit) and Rachel McAdams (Esti) as two childhood friends who find themselves attracted to each other in a orthodox Jewish community. Ronit returns home to London to attend the funeral of her father, the Rav, where she meets Esti. Ronit already shunned for her New York lifestyle risks further hostility from the community when Esti is drawn to her lifestyle, risking her marriage to the man who is expected to be the new Rav.

Extremely wicked
5.5/10
The fillum didn’t do much in the way of painting him as the psycho he was, seemed to spend more time showing how magnetic he was to women

riffraff

Non Stop. 2014. 5/10.
Big Irish feller from the one in which the PM dances around by himself to The Pointer Sisters is an air Marshall who likes a drink. Someone wants to hijack his plane for $150m and it’s all a bit silly tbh. Don’t think I recognised anyone else tbh.

All The Presidents Men. 1976. 9/10.
Not as camp as it sounds tbh. Deep Throat, The Sundance Kid and the Snickers Man team up in the other Washington to bring down the President. Loads of familiar faces wander around in the background. First time I’ve seen it which is a bit embarrassing. Hopefully the current presidents gonna come to the same end.

In The Fade [2017]
9/10

Katja's life collapses after the death of her husband and son in a bomb attack. After a time of mourning and injustice, Katja seeks revenge.

Diane Kruger gives one the great performances dealing with grief and loss.
Serious acting and a very good film.
