The extra part of Bohemian Rhapsody which is just the live aid set. 20 odd minutes. A great watch without getting bogged down in the inaccurate cliches of the film.

Astounding how much Brian May is Brian May.

    Quality, 8/10
  2. Biffo The Bear

Biffo The Bear Midfield Lost Magpie

Hangman - Total and utter garbage 1/10.
The Shape of Water - Expected to hate it. Rather enjoyed it. 6/10

Dredd is on Channel 4 at 22:50 tonight.

The best action film of this decade IMO. And the best comic book film of this decade too.

Terrific comic-book movie. Brilliant screenplay by Alex Garland. Karl Urban is perfect as Dredd.

    Finished Vice. Meh. 3/10

A Private War. 6/10 and a far superior biopic. Rosamund Pike is great, Jamie Dornan should be the next Bond. A very capable actor IMO.
Tom Hollander is in everything at the moment!

If you've ever seen Love/Hate and enjoyed it you'll like this. All about Dublin gangsters - canny 7/10.

How was Anya? Did she get her tits out?

The only good thing about the first film was McAvoy's acting tbf. The rest was shite.
  11. Nar she looked a clip ffs

    Mcavoy scenes annoyed me

    Richy Fingers Full Back

It's getting hammered in ratings like. The curse of M. Night. Shymalan strikes again!

I though McAvoy was class in the 1st one.
  13. Was really looking forward to it like....didnlike the last 30 mins though
  14. That's not an easy concept to visualise

So on average about a 6?

    I Stand Alone Midfield

Bad News Bear. Kids film from 1976 starring Walter Matthau as a washed up, misanthropic pisshead trying to whip a junior baseball team into shape.
Absolutely brilliant and one of the least PC films I can ever recall viewing. 9/10.

Can You Ever Forgive Me? - 7/10 - Enjoyed it, good acting all round and Richard E Grant plays a great drunk!
The Land of Steady Habits - TBC - Started watching this last night on Netflix, quite a wry look at the life of a divorcee looking to move on. Fell asleep though so need to watch the last half an hour!
  18. Son of Stan

    Son of Stan Winger

Similar - watched The Taking of Pelham 123 - the 1974 version with the glorious Walter Matthau and his many expressions. Forget the remake, I love this gritty non pc film. Of Robert Shaw, Matthau comments 'The guy who's talking has got a heavy English accent. He could be a fruitcake.' :)

    Escape Plan

Stallone, Swarzenegger, Fifty Cent and Vinnie Jones.

Hackneyed and hammy, I quite enjoyed it, although it started promisingly and tailed off toward the end.

    6/10 will watch the sequel
