Belly laughed my way through this again. Funny as fuck, and the two “lesbians” are smoking.

Another watch of Ritchie’s opener into the shady world of gangsters and wise cracking wideboys. A who’s who of actors, pretty much all of them have gone on to bigger and better. Worth it just for the scenes with Lenny Maclean in

Video on Demand, in other words, Netflix and Amazon. They release their shit every Tuesday and Friday, thus VOD Tuesday.

Harrowing in places, moving in others, slow in other bits still.

Not sure what I made of it.

Just watched a canny little Indian film called Tumbbad
    Tumbbad (2018) - IMDb

Labelled a horror but not scary at all, just a good little film. Gets an 8.3/10 on IMDB, worthy of it imo.

Not scary in the slightest but I understand why they had to label it a horror. It's like a fairytale horror.

The classification board of India. Films will get a "horror" label if they contain blood, monsters, intense scenes etc.

Look at mother!. Wasn't scary at all but is labelled a "psychological horror" because of 1 or 2 scenes.

    Always will be.

I watched Back to the Future last month and it hasn't aged a day. It brought back that many childhood memories I had a lump in my throat throughout.

I think I need to watch Ghostbusters again like. It's been ower 10 years.

That used to be a big thing years ago but these days it’s all animated stuff.

I wonder if El CID is on this year? Always seemed to be on at Christmas years back

For the young uns, EL CID. is not a Spanish detective fillum

Just watched Ghostbusters thanks to @FootballFan's reminder. 10/10. Didn't realise how much of a WAD Janine was. She has lovely eyes...

Also didn't realise how many adult jokes and rude lines were in it. In one scene possessed Dana says to Venkman "I want you inside me". As a kid this line didn't even register and went completely over my head. I definitely won't be letting the bairn watch this for Christmas.

First man...9.5/10 as good a film as it gets I'm amazed it's took so long to celebrate a totally ice cool mofo in Neil Armstrong

Watched The Bromley Boys this afternoon, based on the book ‘The Bromley Boys: The True Story Of Supporting The Worst Football Team In Britain’. It was canny, set around 1969/70, stuff we can all relate to following our team and some decent tunes on as well. 7.5/10.
