Anyone seen Vice or Hunter Killer yet?
A Prayer Before Dawn
Canny grim. 8/10
Groundhog Day 9/10
Rami Malik is superb as Mercury and Gwilym Lee is May all over. Vocals are spot on the mannerisms are perfect.
Singing in the rain 9/10
Never seen it until now. Just great great fun and amazing dancing and costumes
Seconded! Bloody brilliant.
Other films I've seen lately which are have been good are The Hate U Give and A Star Is Born. I had no idea Lady Gaga could act and Bradley Cooper could sing, but turns out both are true.
First man - maybe I expected too much from this but I found it quite boring & underwhelming. It might be because excessive shaking of the camera throughout just pissed me off. Fair enough to a certain extent with the flight scenes but even that was overdone. The rest of it just seemed like they got Judi Finnigan to film it with a hand held. 6/10
Never seen it before, obviously didn’t “enjoy” watching it but it was very well done. Bit of a hero old Schindler there.
Can’t believe how the germans acted with a little bit power like, surely something in your head would say this isnt right. Humans are terrifying.
Cyberbully (2015) - 6/10
Not bad for a 1-hour Channel4 film.
Cyberbully - On Demand - All 4
Netflix film about capturing adolf eichman
Okay, typical Netflix production? Always feels like they are skimming over the story. .6/10
The scariest bit is that most likely you'd be a guard in that situation. Almost no one was Schindler.
Goes for a tad more suspense over ultra-violence and is all the better for it. Decent flick for fans of the franchise, newbies would be better with the original. 6/10
Patient Zero - 7/10.
Hereditary - Batshit mental. Could score it anywhere between 0 and 6/10. Ridciulously silly at times which I kind of enjoyed.
T the Jungle Book 7/10
Thought it would be a travesty compared to the original but it holds up fine.
Loved Hereditary me
Lake Mungo - 7/10
The most realistc found footage film I've ever seen. It's like watching a documentary.
Got some good reviews, its now on my to watch list.
Watched this last night. 4/10
Nowt really happens, and I didn’t like the style it was filmed in
Tremendous, tremendous, tremendous. The world is a poorer place without Farooq Bulsara and his musical talents
Sicario, the first one.
