Mission Impossible: Fallout has dropped.
Sicario Day of the Soldado
6 out of 10
Sicario was one of my favourite films of recent films so was looking forward to seeing the sequel, unfortunately this left me asking more questions than it answered. Still it was ok, nowhere nowhere near as good as the original. Apparently they're to get Emily Blunt back for the third installment.
Upgrade: 4/10 Daft.
Hereditary: 4/10 Poor mans Paranormal Activity 3.
It was ok, 6/10, lacked polish, had a bit of "student course work film" about it.
Your avatar will never be beaten as a shark film. I wouldn't even bother watching any other.
watched the nun last night - shite
Mission Impossible: Fallout (2018)
After all the hype and the reviews I found this to be pretty predictable with not a single twist that wasn't telegraphed.
Surprisingly little humour as well. Disappointing.
For Cruise stunts alone it deserves 8/10
There'd been a lot of chatter about the previous 2 being great and I found them no better than 6/10.
I'll give Fallout a watch but I expect more of the same.
My avatar will never be beaten by any film
This was on a par with Ghost Protocol but I actually really liked the last one.
2 hours 20 mins is half an hour too long for an action movie.
Sicario: Day of the Soldado. Really enjoyed this. Dark and seemed to get the tensions between the US and Mexico.
First one was brilliant, never seen this one, as good as the original?
Probably not but still worth a watch like.
Love and death, Woody Allen and Juliet Taylor, mildly amusing. 4 /10
The Equalizer (first one). Probably enjoyed far more than I should have. A solid 7/10.
Mandy finally dropped on all dodgy sites today (and non-dodgy ones fyi).
Looks fucking mental
I don't know if I overdid it watching this and the last two over the space of a few weeks.
Too long, and extremely boring in places. Not as good as the previous 2, and come across as a bit of a vehicle for Cruise to show off.
I don't really like him anyway but there's no denying he's made some topper films.
I know they're meant to be ridiculous, but this one was stupid to the point I was losing interest. There was a part where it was almost turning into the gang fight off Anchorman. The sub plot with
was too daft as well.
It was 7/10 good up to the end of Paris.
Rebecca Ferguson is 10/10 class.
Superman's tache was 10/10 good.
5/10 over all
I agree with everything you've said. I was completely underwhelmed by it after getting rave reviews.
Too long. The stuff with
was just f***ing stupid.
It was all a bit of an overblown Cruise wankathon.
Not a patch on the last which had just the right amount of action, humour, plot complexity and Rebecca Ferguson's legs.
Predator 2018 so far its very good 20 mins in.
