6 Days, Netflix fillum about the Iranian Embassy siege of 1980
7/10, worth a watch
Murder on the Orient Express. I enjoyed it for what it is - a decent retelling of the book, nothing earth shattering. I liked Ken B's Poirot, the cinematography was good and I especially liked the way some scenes were shot from unusual angles. I hope he does another Poirot.
Just watched Predestination....
Well, I have no idea what went on there!!!
Just read up on it... And I still don't understand it!!
Takes a few days I think in a nutshell he was 'thebaby' 'thebarman' 'the person in the bar' and 'the assassin' my head is spinning just thinking about it.
yes, basically he was the woman who became a man, who then fell in love with himself as a woman, who then had a baby which was him also, who grew up to become the woman who turned into the man...etc etc...!!
Still can't get my head round it!
Rise of the Footsoldier 3
It wasn’t very good. 4.5/10
he was the woman who became a man
Nowt specially wrong with that. It's the rest of it...
Have you seen the film?
Nah. Just @Norwich Red n White 'S explanation above was enough for me.
Missed this on it's release. Almost 10 year old now.
Murder On The Orient Express.
It was decent, but the over use of CGI in certain scenes/ backgrounds was a bit jarring and tbe ending was a bit clunkily directed.
It certainly seemed to be setting up Death On The Nile but I guess that could have been a throwaway/ knowing wink kind of line.
No it wasn't brilliant. I just like Ken. But did you think Johnny Depp looked weird? And orange? I couldn't make out a lot of what he mumbled.
I had the misfortune of watching Operation Dunkirk by mistake instead of Dunkirk. I was about 15
minutes in before I realised it didn’t seem right.
Absolute shite made by ‘The Asylum’
The lass playing the French Resistance girl had decent jugs though.
1/10 for the Resistance lass.
Went see Paddington 2 with my daughter last night and I thought it was fantastic. Couldn't fault it to be honest. As good a kids movie as I've seen in years. I know this may not be saying a lot, but Hugh Grants best career performance by a mile.
It's a Wonderful Life - 4/10
Sorry, I have really tried liking this film, but I just simply find George Bailey such an irritating character.
WHAT??? I'm speechless. How can you be irritated by the lovely George? Got my tickets booked for a screening at the Tyneside, there will be sobbing.
