Probably go with Transformers then. Alien is a slog.
Alien films seem to have taken what made them scary (not knowing where they are and when they strike) to the (YO BITCHES BE HERE IN DAYLIGHT YO) it's a franchise killer. Watching DiCaprio getting killed by a bear at the minute
The Glenn Miller Story. A true classic which still stands the test of time. One of James Stewart's best. 9/10
Off subject of films, but I went to see the Glen Miller Story at the Empire earlier this year. Show should have been good, especially the second half when the band were on stage playing number after number. BUT - Tommy Steele was far too old to play the lead. We couldn't decide whether he was Corporal Jones or Mr Pastry! Spoiled a good night!
Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets.
Starring Dane Dehaan as Keanu Reeves.
Better than expected.
pretty much word for word how I described it at work!
Just turned off Jeepers Creepers 3 after 20 minutes. Not wasting anymore of my life on it. Shame, as I enjoyed the first two.
I couldn't get the fact that the director's a convicted paedophile out of my head which didn't help matters either.
I thought the Creeper was killed at the end of the second film?
It's a 'true sequel'to the first.
Didn’t know that.
Aye and a lot of controversy over his VERY short jail time.
Yeah, Just had a squizz on IMDb. One year for molesting a videotaping a 12 year old. What a piece of shit.
Just Watched, Scouts Guide to Zombie Apocalypse
Tongue in cheek horror if you like that stuff
Would have been better with some better music, it does after all attract Zombies
They could have played on the "Hit me baby one more time" scene a bit more
I think Sean Dyke was in there, and Clint Eastwoods mam
One of the locations the producers wanted to check out was the Monkwearmouth Bridge, they looking at it as an option to use for Paddington to cross, no idea if it went anywhere as we had to put them in touch with Network Rail.
Thor 8/10 good old superhero action.
Anyone seen Neither Heaven Nor Earth?
Supernatural thriller set on Afghan battlefield.
Imdb have it rated 6.4/10 and Rotten Tomatoes has it rated 95%.
The Dam Busters (1955)
Disappointing and not as good as I remembered. It's a great story, but we don't really get to know any of the characters. It could have done with being30 mins longer IMHO.
Fat sam off game of thrones devises a way of people putting up money online and then they fight to the death and winner takes the money.
Pretty low budget fare but was alright to while an hour and a half away
