Step Brothers. Some real laugh out loud bits but goes on a bit 7/10

That thing you do. Was ok no more than that 6/10

Dark City - 90s film about a group of Aliens manipulating humanity within a noir Blade Runner style city. Sort of like the Matrix but not as polished. 7/10.

Green Book - Working class Italian New Yorker takes a job driving an intellectual black musician through the American deep south in the 60s. Fantastic, sure it won Oscars. 9/10.

Irresistible - solid 8/10. Good exposè of the buying political influence shitshow.
Don’t Worry He Won’t Fet Far On Foot 7.5/10

Warm, endearing tale of disability and alcoholism.

‘You should have left’, Kevin Bacon in a psychological thriller trapped by the demons of his past. Slow, boring and unbelievable. 4/10

Donkeypunch . Good original idea but executed and acted out poorly. 3 lasses on holiday in Spain befriend 3 lads looking after a posh boat. Dropping some e smoke crack then it all starts to go wrong.

Worth watching for one scene where Jaime Winston is riding and she's bollock naked. Gets a bonus point for that scene 6/10 😂

Eurovision Fire Saga
5/10

Daft will Ferrell shite, where he plays an unloved Icelandic man who, with his mate (Rachel Mcadam, wad) end up in the Eurovision contest by some fluke
Laughed a little bit. Absolutely chocka with Easter eggs though

The song at the end is immense. Proper Eurovision banger.

Watched Inglourious Basterds The other week. Christoph Waltz’s acting is incredible. Gets a 7/10 as a Tarantino film overall though.

Vivarium - played out like an elongated episode of the twilight zone, enjoyed it
Aniara - bleak swedish sci-fi, again thought it was very good
Bacarau - Brazilian drama/thriller on the old familiar most dangerous game trope. It was good, but the critical plaudits its been recieving seem overegged
Us - finally got around to watching it, not too impressed, found it plodding and confusing
Lisztomania - bonkers ken russell historical biopic, absolutely great

7500

Intense hijack thriller on Amazon Prime. Joseph Gordon Levitt puts in a really good, strong performance as a pilot attempting to save his passengers after Muslamic Terrorists attack, the entirity of the film played out in the cockpit. Quite enjoyed it, well written and paced, and you get the impression that they've consulted thoroughly with the relevant professionals to deliver optimum realism.

7/10

Rocknrolla

Watchable Guy Ritchie pap. 4/10

They tease a sequel at the end, which will likely never come to fruition 12 years after this.
