Re: South stand shite

well done with the perseverence, but id try another adam johnson song out, that futureheads one just doesnt sit quite right, didnt sound very good when theres a group singing it.
the other one after that was much better "cock of the north" keep trying with that cos it started to take off a bit.

hank williams  "haaaaaaaaaawwwwwwaaaaayyyy" keep doing it, its funny, but stop trying to get yer sel a z list celeb status by claiming to be the north stand noddy holder

I thought they were quite good yesterday - Too many anti mags songs and I don't find the Titus song amusing so 7.5 out of 10

Should be rocking for the scum like

A few bellends will have loved singing it, it will now happened every match cos they are too thick to see how shit it is.

Re: South stand shite

Yeah that's him. He is like a kid who has learnt to swear and saves them all up for a match day. He was shocking you Scottish **** all game but over the moon when Fletcher notched. Everything is either linked to a nationality of racism. Few lads round me waiting to put him right like. He is a Bellend of the highest order.

Aye, I heard him scream about Gomez being a 'Spanish cunt' and Caldwell being a 'useless Scottish cunt' a few times.

He seems like a right bellend, my mate missed the Liverpool game and didn't get there yesterday until about 30 minutes in due to work, and he commented by half time what a tit that lad was.

Re: Stewards

It would appear that a fair few people are fed up to the eye teeth of the way they are treated by the stewards.

Has this behaviour actually been put forward to the club on a rational basis?

Probably not as most people would rather rant about it to strangers on a message board than to actually do something proactive themselves!

Re: Stewards

It's the same old routine. If they want all to sit they need to work front to back. It's an impossible task. I wouldn't be a steward for the money they get (not that i know what rate it is). We stood all game u39 with no bother. Did see stewards getting people to sit down at the lower bowl part in front of me. How do they eject all supporters though??? If I couldn't see I would stand. The people however who are saying "fuck off I'm standin regardless" may get ejected. If I was the front row and was asked to sit, I would sit provided I could still see the game.

Why do you like to stand at the match? Why do you go in the South Stand rather than the other areas of the ground?

It seems to me that people need to make a protest against this silly all seater rule and stand up to give you the chance to. Now I am not saying that people should be rude to the stweards but if everyone took your attitude there would be no standing.

I do think the atmosphere is better and like to stand. My point was you will not get everyone to sit. So you are always gonna get the aggro.

Re: South stand shite

I also seen this. Outrageous to be fair. The bloke was about 40 anarl!!

I could just see a pair of legs and shoes like, couldn't tell how old he was. My brother sits row 38 just behind him, and says he ended up falling over a couple of rows at the end as well

I think the sad thing is, is that the stand has been diluted with supporters who don't want to stand and aren't fussed about signing. Only the back of the stand are singing continuously and then you have pockets of our fans dotted around below who can't stand/sing because those around them don't want to.

The club should have made the North Stand the same price as the south. Therefore allowing the non-singers to go there instead of encouraging them to go to the south stand due to the saving on their season cards.

Not possible surely, every single person knew they'd have to stand/sing for the whole 90.

Or maybe I was right and you were wrong?

Yeah am 37. He was about 6 seats away from me. He was with that bald bloke was was shouting for MON out! Haha

Re: South stand shite

Honestly. You must have heard it. Came after the " better start winning games Oniel" rant.

I'm 2 rows back and 9/10 seats to the left (right against the side of the security box) so heard nowt, especially over that other silly little fuckwit screaming at everyone and everything

I noticed a few singing that Man Utd song with the line " and Leeds" in a lower tone.

Re: Stewards

For told to sit down with 91 minutes on the clock. ST in east stand (I know!) and on the end of the row and cant see 70% of the pitch once people start going. Can't see a bat and everyone stands because of it. Explained my position and was told if I can't see to go and watch it on TV on the concourse!!!

Was told if i stand again i would be ejected! Never known anything like in 20 years of us having a season ticket and don't know what to say. Game spoilt to perfectly honest.

Sit with my 70 odd year old dad and he was about to throw his flask at the fuckers.
the same reason we moved seats 2 years ago, I hated it, moved to the back of the lower bowl and got great seats now.
