The Shawshank Redemption

One of the best. No idea how many times I've watched it but it must be at least 20 or so but for me, The Intouchables, (the original French version, also known as Untouchable, in the US), is probably my personal favourite.
Thought Hacksaw Ridge was an absolute masterpiece, too.
And One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, (though its nowhere near as good as the book).

Godfather is the best like.
Love Godfather 2 as well. Shawshanks up there. One of my personal faves is Usual Suspects. Love Predator, Terminators, Rocky, Ghostbusters, Jurassic parks. Some great films that i still need to watch as well.
police academy 3 for me

i've just checked. its number 1 now.
Love the Police Academy films
I actually prefer Green Mile.

Best ever film though is Pulp Fiction.
Forgot about Pulp Fiction when commenting, amazing film.

I loved this film too - just stumbled across it by chance on Netflix or somewhere, but really heartwarming

Shawshank is a decent film - divides opinion - i have seen it 27.5 times (fell asleep during one watching)

I absolutely love it me.

Brilliant music score too and the ending must be up there with Willy Wonka (Malcolm Crosby version) as one of the happiest endings to a fillum
:) :) :) Malcolm Crosby version.

I like it as a film. Good eye pop corn if I haven't seen it for a while.

The score by Thomas Newman, who I believe is Randy's cousin, is superb.

Bob Gunton should have won a BSA Oscar. Perhaps he was too obtuse.

I enjoyed the film at the time, but viewing of clips lately on youtube just make me laugh.

That tiny little toffee hammer man.

The size of the hole.

And is everyone deaf.

And when he is about to leave, would anyone leave a picture of Raquel Whelks (Peter cook) behind.

Edit. And how the hell, once he'd gone through the hole did he stick Raquel back on the wall ?

Can someone who's watched it 20+ times please explain to me how he sticks the poster back onto the wall from the other side?
That's a fairly easy one. You lift the picture from the bottom, leaving the top of it taped to the wall and when you let go, gravity takes care of the rest. 🤷
not possible
