The Queen wants to bomb Australia

A convention was probably formed when parliament had to vote before the Iraq war, so it's probably unconstitutional now to go to war without the backing of the majority of parliament

She has dissolved the government incase they try to stop her.

If the Queen dissolved government I believe the people would stop her, and probably the armed forces as well. It would be the beginning of a Republic

She is threatening to freeze peoples bank assets and set off a nuclear bomb in Leeds if we don't fight.

It wouldn't be as exciting as the ashes, or world cup rugby.

No, I have family over there and would be very unhappy.

Cackbabble, very few people would be bothered enough to do any more than have a bit of a moan.

As for the forces, unless they have changed it since I joined, the oath of allegiance is to the monarch, parliament & the government don't get a mention. Although there would be some who disobeyed orders & fought against the crown.

Why would she go to all that bother when she can just ask the RAAF to bomb Australia for her instead?

Cos I never knew she could do that ;)

That's what I thought, so in theory she could do it then?

Experts now believe that repealing the Scotland Act would be unachievable due to political will, and that's one Act. I reckon the same would be true of a complete constitutional upheaval.

Is this actually gonna happen? Cos I'm all for it, me.
not the Queen, she's not mad enough. I mean she's mad, she sits there and shits herself while watching reruns of Last Of The Summer Wine, but not mad enough to want to bomb Australia. Phillip might but he'd like to decimate India and Pakistan first. Charles is the boy though; he's never forgiven Australia for the incident with the marmite and the dildo so he's planning to lay waste to the entire country

He might try to talk her into it.

Would anybody notice?

They'd probably just go "Oh look, I see China has opened some more open-cast mines ..."
