The Queen Is A Nazi Lizard

Silly question here, but has the queen stepped forward and said, publicly, something like this...

Hang on, I was 7, I was a kid, I was playing and doing what I was told.
I am appalled that the king fella in the photo was, and remained for decades a nazi sympathiser, but I denounce the nazi party and all that it stands for.
I am sorry for any offence caused, non was meant.

Or did the palace just put out a statement screaming and crying that the photo should not have been shown?

She doesn't need to. Should an adult apologise for something they did as a child? Unless it's a murder or something really really evil then I'd pass it off a something that should have been managed better by their parent or guardian.

Your response is likely to be based around the fact that Queen Elizabeth II isn't a 'normal' person and should always show a superior morality and code of conduct because of her status and power but I can't see what point it would prove. Her uncle was a Nazi, he coaxed her to do a Nazi salute. Big wow, English footballers did it too as they were under pressure but at least could have made the decision to do it or refuse to do it based on adult rationality.

Aye, you would think that the moderate royals would march through the streets denouncing the activities of Nazi, peado, lizard royals.

You never see Lizzie and Phil marching though so obviously the whole lot of them are Nazi, reptile, paedophiles.

It would allay fears that the salute was not all she was taught to believe or do as a child.
In her position, she should apologise.
Footballers would not have a furking clue what they were saluting or what the implications were, neither would a kid, but the people advising and teaching the kid would know, and its vital we know if she still holds those views.
I would say she does, as she is not denouncing them, and is crying breach of privacy instead of doing the logical and simple course of action of saying, hey I was a kid, but I know it was wrong no offence was meant.

I'm a staunch royalist but I'm afraid I cant find anything remotely explanatory for that image. Looks poor for the Royals. Not surprised that they are fuming.

I'm undecided re: Royalty. One moment I'm thinking that Cromwell and the Roundheads were ace, the next I feel proud when we see our culture on display at Trooping the Colour, Remembrance Sunday, how dignified the Queen can be etc.

There are good Royals and bad ones, like in every family. But I think that the Queen has been a good monarch overall and isn't a reptilian Nazi.

Even if she was indoctrinated as a child, you and I know that people can change a lot over the years when they learn to judge for themselves.

No doubt lots of peado's in Royal history though, it may still go on for all we know.
But at the end of the day, she was pictured being taught by someone who ended up KING OF THIS COUNTRY to do a nazi salute, and god knows what else he taught her.

The queen lives a very closeted life, if her advisors are that way inclined (which they would have been back then obviously or this photo would not have been possible) and her family was that way inclined, then its possible she still holds views like that.
Remember, the king fella remained a nazi lover till the 70's.
She has no regard for her subjects, happily signs legislation that causes deaths for example.

Answered your own question marra. Impressive.

In 1930 Nazi storm troopers dressed in civilian clothes celebrated their electoral victory by smashing the windows of Jewish shops, restaurants and department stores, an indication of things to come...
Remember the Royals were, and probably still are sometimes, better informed than the public on internation affairs.

They were not in power at that time. In fact they were almost wiped out in the previous election. If a band of Ukippers went on the rampage would you consider that would be influential on foreigners if they later won an election?
