The Queen’s Geordie

I left Sunlun 45 years ago . Last week, we had a sunny day so I was sat outside a boozer in Romaldkirk slurping a surprisingly good pint . Another couple who, it transpired were on holiday turned up and after a few pleasantries were exchanged I had them down as geordies . She (wadnt) guessed I was from Sunderland . I would have been surprised if someone from Suddick had noticed my much changed accent never mind a Sandy .

I left just over 30 years back, I met a bloke from sunderland in London who asked where I was from and wouldn't accept I was from sunderland. I met a South African woman 2 years back who thought I was a liwi.
