The press has the Methven meeting minutes

He seems more of a Telegraph person to me, can't imagine he has the journalistic pedigree to land a proper Times gig.

I think it was the Telegraph. He was also involved with setting up The Sportsman which was to provide competition to the Racing Post and Sporting Life.

I think it’s only available online now. Might be wrong though.

I'm not defending it but its hardly a huge fuss is it? People are offending by f***ing anything these days man.

Agreed, I just dont think, if this is the big drama surrounding the delay and weeks of talking about how something big happened in the meeting... people need to stop being offended by everything
The bloke has been contemptuous towards us on more than one occasion, and now he's having a dig at our intelligence? There's not being easily offended and there's being a complete walkover. No way should we accept it.

Theres more that was said than just this.

Somebody on twitter pointed out that madrox:
didnt do proper due diligence
went looking for fincace within weeks of change of ownership
tried and (failed) to flog the club (at least twice)
Sold our only real hope of getting promoted automatically last season in jan
bought a 33 year ex player who struggles to play two games back to back and gave him a 2.5 year deal

Not trying to sound like I'm defending Donald here but as a genuine question, do we have any proof that he was trying to sell to Campbell? I know they were pictured at Wembley but could it not be the case that he was just wanting to bring him in as an investor as opposed to trying to sell him the whole thing? It's just something I've seen leveled at Donald quite regularly but (although I might have missed it) I can't remember ever seeing anything that confirmed Campbell would have been taking over the whole lot. He's always said he'd like to bring more people to the table as shareholders/ investors, I always assumed that's what he was doing with Campbell until he found the bloke had fuck all money!

SUSTAINABILITY.

Phil Smith (I think, it was that local journal) has spoken at least once about the Campbell takeover and how it was disruptive to the summer transfer business.

He never did like being questioned. Any time he was asked a question he didn't like on the podcasts he'd get shirty about it.

He did always come across like he couldn't believe anyone would dare question his brilliance. Maybe that was down to what he really thought of the people of the North East.
He didn’t like it when he was interviewed on one of the podcasts and very curtly answered the questioner that it was a ‘private matter’.

It is certainly a matter that he is not comfortable with.

I forgot about that, it had nothing to do with the club according to him, which soon changed.

Private matter, if the loan was secured against his house fair enough.

I keep saying this but it's not the fact we didn't get promoted or the fact we up until recently have been heading the other way this season that most fans have turned against him. It's the fact that they can never tell us the same thing twice. The loan is a great example, I mean if they tried to blag that what are they doing out of our view?

Lack of trust is the reason we want him gone.

You know what it is mate.... i think the situation is so bleak that i'm more than happy for people to point out any positives
but... its hard to ignore what an omnishambles this club is.
what properly scares me is that we have owners who look out of their depth to the point
i wished we had a sugar daddy like short to bail us out
short was an utter disaster... but i think he messed up trying to do the right thing
whereas these clowns our just out for themselves

whose worse?

a disaster of an owner that not out to line his pockets but probably has affinity for the club

or

a bunch a chancers who are?
 Oh the irony...
aye mate, funny how laughter and crying look the same when the sounds off
