Essential piece of kit along with the Met Office Satellite images and the BBC 12-hour forecast.

There's a light meter app for the iPhone called, erm, Light Meter. Seems to work brilliantly, though I might change my mind once I get films developed tomorrow.

What does it give, an incidental ev reading?

Here's a short review of the free version.

The paid version (it's 79p iirc) doesn't have those intrusive ads, and shows histograms etc.

Basically, you set any 2 of f stop, shutter speed and ISO, and it recommends what the 3rd should be for correct exposure. I've been using it for a meterless film camera - the readings / suggestions seemed correct, but I'm yet to get the film developed.

Must use the iphone camera's meter, so if that's working it should be ok
