Too right mateThis badly advised shit doesnt cut it with me, it was his job to put the right people in the right positions, he didnt and were in league 1, no excuse as far as im concened
ThisHe isn't 100% to blame but I certainly haven't forgiven him the way some on here have. He sat back and watched us free fall into league one, yes he repaid some cash at the end but by then the damage was done.
I agree with your assessment. Only thing is the wording - that was a bit more than some cashHe isn't 100% to blame but I certainly haven't forgiven him the way some on here have. And you think that if we had an owner who could billions into a division 1 club would make it all right?.........you complete and utter helmet! At least Short put money into the club and gave it a go, he was badly advised and put his trust in the wrong people. Was willing to cut his losses to get rid of us losing his billionaire status in the process (although I would have liked him to have done it a year earlier). The current fuckers look like they want to spend as little as possible to make the most as possible whilst bullshitting to us all in the present.
For the situation that Sunderland are currently in is Ellis Short no question. Can anybody please explain to me why our current owners get so much abuse as you would think that they are the people that put us in league 1? All of this bitterness and hatred towards them doesnt make sense to me, there is a lot of people who forget or who choose to forget, a lot of people are quick to react to the here and now rather than think who put us here in the first place. There is vicious posts and threads on here with absolute no foundation, all aimed at the wrong people and that is a matter of fact
Isn't this exactly the same thing that SD has done? This badly advised shit doesnt cut it with me, it was his job to put the right people in the right positions, he didnt and were in league 1, no excuse as far as im concened

Yet he kept us a float all season in the championship under Grayson and Coleman, then wiped the debt when he sold us to his mate.....You post is deluded, none factual and utter shite!
SD and CM are chancers who've taken a punt but don't have the finance themselves to take the club forward. And it hasn't gone that well despite our trips to Wembley.
Can't blame them for getting involved initially, and to their credit they have cut costs which was needed whether we like it or not.
But they didn't put us where we are, it was all those who ripped off the football-naive Ellis Short, hard to believe such a businessman could allow it to happen.
We're a club with PL facilities and supporters (though the mood is waning) but are not going to recover under the present ownership unless significant outside investment is made.
Which itself is a bit of a problem because of financial fair play rules, only a certain % of the club's income can be spent on recruiting players.
The club's greatest asset is it's fanbase and despite the unprecedented period we've suffered, we'll be back - just a matter of time.
sound like a child in a sweetie shop. Uncle Ellis always bought me sweets even though it rotted my teeth and made me obese. Uncle Stuart won’t buy me sweets because he says he doesn’t have enough money.
Bad Uncle Stuart why doesn’t he just take out a payday loan.... selfish, incompetent Eastleigh supporting taking the piss cockney.
wrong on so many levels, so much so I think your beyond hope
so it is Shorts fault .... good post
