The new houses being built down Burdon Lane

Wanting a 4 bed detached but ain’t willing to pay £280k plus. Probably no chance on these new developments.

David Wilson has just released some.

I wouldn’t buy at the minute like, arse is about to fall out the market IMHO
New builds won't go down unless spec does
This site?

Not bad those prices like, nice houses and decent spec

You won't get much for 280k these days.. 'doer upper' mebbes. Prices are daft on new builds. People want the shiny and new I suppose

Mine was £115k I think, 2 bed terrace.

Literally round the corner from me there’s a 4 bed detached with a garage that’s up for about 3 times that. Possibly more.

This is Ryhope. So relevant to the thread I suppose

Prices are unreal. People still buying. How are people getting mortgages for £400k+? Madness.

If you look at the table on here it's mental what you can borrow even on a relatively modest joint income.

People are going to be well and truly knackered with interest rate rises.

and said SUV will have a private plate that if you squint at it and consider for several minutes....you will still be none the wiser
2 grand at a guess for a new house at those prices and a couple of cars on tick or lease before you start paying for anything else. You’re either on a fortune or living hand to mouth given wages up here

I imagine there will be a lot over extended.... Caught up in a red hot housing market and never really knowing anything other than ridiculous interest rates
