The most you have spent on a single item on eBay

I buy items on eBay now and again but mostly small beer stuff, say up to £50, cos if it all goes wrong I can write it off and forget it. CBA with disputes and the like.

That said, I did once spend £1000 on a 20ft shipping container. And then another poxy £150 to get it delivered.

Is that where you’ve stored the bodies?

Think the most I’ve spent is around 100 notes on a record. Pretty small fry really.

£12k on a snooker table

Edit: didn't spend it, just put a bid in for it, misread the OP.

Most I've spent would be £100 on a jacket

£650 on an antique wardrobe. Oh and £1,250 on an antique bookcase.

(Did some background research on the sellers before bidding).

Couple of hundred quid on a private reg, a cherished plate, if you will.

Sold it on there about 9 or 10 year later at a profit anarl.

I spent £220 on a painting with £30 delivery, turned out the artist lived near Darlington so I arranged to pick it up instead.
Came out of his studio with two more having spent another £300.
Was it of a sailing ship off Sunderland, and did you check out his blazer buttons?
