The Model Works

Made £9m+ on Stewart
Might make £5m on Roberts

Neither were in the squad at the weekend and we got a draw against a team how’ve spent huge and are expected to be top 6 minimum.

Will make future profits on Clarke, Hume, Ballard, Cirkin, Bellingham, Ekwah, Patterson, Rigg, Neil etc.

Still time for some additions and a more than capable manager at the helm.

Might not be the quick fire progress some are looking for but it’s a healthy way to run a club and a business.

Stewart was nothing to do with the “model”. He was identified by Lee Johnson’s scout mate before Johnson arrived here. It had fuck all to do with SAFCs scouts/“model”.

And Roberts was hardly an unheard of “find” was he.

Who cares about the mags?

the model still includes when to sell players, at the right price and the club not bending to the demands of players. So he is part of the model.

The model is supposed to work by having players ready to move seemlessly into the place of the player sold. Who is seemlessly moving into Ross’s place , who would replace Roberts if he left ? The players who we brought in to do this have not been good enough or are nowhere near ready .

The model does work but It comes across to me like they don't have the business acumen or experience to operate it to its full potential. The owners pockets should be deep enough to say, players are going nowhere until a replacement is in. Or, to say sorry we dont like that offer, we will let his contract run.

That way clubs wont take the piss as much, all clubs have to sell at some point, its how they go about it.

Owners have to look at the bigger picture and not think of one in one out. Business is a longer play going concern, sometimes you work on debit, it happens. As long as you know its coming in later at a price you want.

Don't really have much issue with the way we're doing most of our business but trying to declare a 0-0 draw away at a team we were playing in League One three year ago as some sort of massive accomplishment is hilarious mind.
Never said it was a ‘massive accomplishment’. Just making an observation on the £15m we’re making not been taking out of a squad that is competing at a good championship level.

Rigg will be the most valuable and we'll only get a tiny compensation fee. It's why I want him to get the chances Ba is getting. He may be 16 but he'll be gone soon anyway so we may as well play him while he's here.

So at the moment the replacement for Stewart is a 20 year old rookie who has played a about 90 minutes of competetive football in his life and has been completely bullied out of gamesand never scored a goal & the replacement for Roberts, can't cross a ball, tackle, shoot of pick out a pass

Yep its working

Where’s the succession planning that Speakman was on about? Another lie, the model is just a bluff for making money

Sorry but a good business model does not turn down £15m in profit now when they could potentially get £0 in 9 months time.
