Train at Tynemouth unable to move because a problem with the gear box, staff are having to get the train lifted onto a skate, which then means it can be moved with assistance by another train. Not a quick job.

Metro passengers are being warned of delays after a police incident in South Shields.
Officials say the timetable is running 10-15 minutes behind schedule after officers held a train at South Shields metro station at aroun 9.45am, today.
