The MET are at it again. Part 46

Read that approx. 32,000 Met police officers( could well be incorrect) but this would still be a horrific %

That’s just the ones they’ve had complaints against. Imagine how many have got away with deviant behaviour on women who were either too scared or too embarrassed to report it?

There will be a number of them where complaints have been made from domestic incidents etc such as complaints of harassment where there was no evidence. Would like to see ones of 'serious' crimes. Would like to think so anyway

Less power = less ego

Time for them to stop thinking they’re above the law and remind them that they’re public servants serving us the public.

Treat the public as equals and regain their respect. Lose the arrogance and don’t talk down to people and it’s a start.

Otherwise nothing will ever change just a vicious continuous circle.

Stand by my theory that those who join the police are power hungry, narcissists, egotistical or bully’s. Sometimes a combination of all.

Remain to be proven otherwise and the charge sheet keeps stacking up.

People who really want to help others become doctors, nurses, paramedics, carers etc.

The rest join the police on a power trip. Pathetic 😂
All of them like?

How many are men though?
Just Googled and just over 10,000 are female.
So that leaves 22,000 male officers.
With around 1000 under review for behaviour that is 1 in 22.
PS
According to this website the total police officers is 34,000
So 24,000 male officers.
Claimed 1000 officers and staff under review and some sources say 800 officers.
So that's 1 in 30 that we know about.

I did the same research, its shocking to think 4.5% of met officers are under investigation for various forms of sexual abuse or assault.
The only profession I can think of with a higher proportion of sexual abuse allegations are conservative MP's.
I can't find any reaction from the Police Federation anywhere
No wonder they've effectively legalised rape.

As I saw a post previous post it time to disband the met & start again I don't believe Couzens & Carrick are the only wrongun's

heard the commisioner interviewed a while back and he wasnt the fact that when police numbers were so stretched he had inherited hundreds of officers on restricted duty because they werent fit to deal with the public

Can we trust the Police to investigate themselves.

Even an IOPC investigator has quit because she claims her report was watered down.

We need a task force to be set up that will investigate allegations and so give victims confidence that their claims will be taken seriously.

The IOPC absolutely hate the police from my experience and would do anything to get anything to chomp down on.
