The manager speaks .....

Sounds like O’Nien will get a chance further up the field. Good.

Think he'll be more in Cattermoles position to be honest.

I think our midfield selections next year will be either Leadbitter/Power as deep-lying playmaker. And then O'Nein or Robson as ball-winner.

I still don't think he has a f***ing clue who to play at number 10 and/or whether that rejigged midfield might be mobile enough to play 4-4-2 (which is what I think he'd prefer).

Fuck off man, he played full back because Matthews was always injured....When he was fit he wasnt as good as 09.......Couple that with the fact we had 8 centre mids and it was obvious why he didnt play further up the field.........Oh and lets not re write history, when he played early in the season and played attacking midfield, a good few on this board had him written off and said he was out of his depth.

He was. And will be next year. People like Maddison are the sort of player we should be looking at for the number ten spot. Or Maguire even. O'Nein is a centre mid.

Best off just giving him a bit of time tbh, nothing gets resolved by swapping managers every season....we should know that more than most.

Mind the one time we stuck with a failing manager we got relegated.

Looking at the mid season managerial changes and the teams that went up I think it makes very little difference whether you swap manager or not mind. Villa were doing okay with Bruce results wise but were poor performance wise, sacked him & Smith took them up as he was more suited to setting up attacking with the personnel available.

It was proven last season with our non promotion with the players we had the formations we used the substitution 's we did and didn't make. Oh and poor transfer window selections
No it didn’t , we had a 2 year plan, if he fails this season then it’s a failure

You never get any further forward by doing it tho mate.

The new man wants his own signings so some of the previous mangers players don't get a chance, then he gets sacked and the cycle continues.

It's about time we stick with someone thru good and bad.
