For the record I am well aware there were a lot of neutral fans who have enjoyed both of our recent relegations, in the same way that neutral fans enjoyed Villa's relegation and Leeds' a few years back.
Whereas SAFC’s relegations have been about as newsworthy as that of Wigan, Portsmouth or Birmingham City’s relegations over the years…. To sum it up no-one gave a flying fuck

Apart from newcastle fans who spent weeks/months finding any article they could about SAFC and bringing out not one but two books called lets all laugh at Sunderland. NUFC fans were very,very interested in SAFC relegations and certainly did give a flying fuck.
