The mag properganda machine having a meltdown.

A cynic would say they can't get to us at football so they'll use airports, cheesy chips, blue pop, train stations, the size of the Tyne Bridge etc etc etc to have a go.

I know I've put this question out before and never had a satisfactory answer

How can a NUFC fan in Jarrow or shields durham or washington , have an airport, a cathederal, a bridge, an angel, or a sage and claim that an SAFC fan living in Jarrow or shields durham or washington doesn't?

Mag fans reaction to their loss last night show signs of a mass delusional defence mechanism, to be precise, displacement. Its been both fascinating and hilarious.

As they have elevated Benitez to messiah status, they are now completely incapable of accepting any criticism of him and also unable to feel any bad emotions or thoughts about him. So they lose, and unable to accept he plays a role in this, every man and his dog is in for a kicking. I had a look on Toontastic and its hilarious. Every player is to blame, theyve let Rafa down. This is going to be hilarious to watch if they continue in this vein.

They're so arrogant they truly believe the world revolves around them. What a steaming pile of horseshite - is it not possible for them to write one article without them mentioning our supposed inferiority complex about "being in their shadow" about us being obsessed or about them having bigger crowds?

I'm not being funny but it's about time people like Robertson woke up, sat back and actually diluted what he writes.

People often post links to articles written by the mag on here. Now it is a Newcastle website so it's obviously going to be one sided but should it be childish to the point of writing lies? This is a common trait it seems.

They write about Sunderland on a regular basis, which is ironic considering they lead every one to believe that they're disinterested in us. We, on the other hand have some sort of obsession verging on a disorder about them.

The sad thing is (for them), this is the main resource that their fans rely on for news. It's the direct opposite of what I'd want from a fanzine, it's an anti-catalyst if you will. I feel through the input of the ALS, ha'way the flags and other fan led groups we've got more an edge about us. We're more extreme whilst maintaing our sense of self-deprication. When we wind-up the mags, it's generally done in jest, it's actually humourous. They on the otherhand are often swift to respond with spite, anger and seriousness. I appreciate that this can work both ways but it's remenicient to someone who is unable to communicate their point, and therefore resorts to becoming physical or so often in their case making up fables in a desperate attempt to save face.

It really does pain them to see us where we are. It's great to see. After their lack of performance last night, I think they're in for a shock and a much harder season than they envisage. They've led with their mouths wide open, voices booming as they so often do, I can see it ending in more tears.

Had a quick look at the top of the championship and couldn't see them, assumed they had been promoted automatically. Didn't think to look at the bottom
