The Like Button

I like the like button but I don’t feel it is particularly important in the global scheme of things.

If something resonates with me or makes me smile I “like” it.

I don’t wish to continue a discussion with someone but I do want to acknowledge my reaction.

So personally, I would prefer it to remain.

But of course we all have differing issues we are or have dealt with.

But what is the benefit of your "like" and weigh that up with the damage it does, I cant see its really a contest.
 
I've talked about this well in the past, and surprisingly some were ridiculing me for doing so. They just didn't understand.

It really needs to go, the previous evidence I submitted I'll post more below.

There really is no defence for it anymore, I get that people are trying to copy popular social media networks, but that is no excuse given the reputation of said networks have been declining and exposed every year as completely reprehensible.
