The lap of appreciation

If the useless lazy cowardly bags of shite had managed to get 3 points out of two fairly easy home games in six days rather than having to rely on arsenal I'm sure many more thousands would have stayed!!!!

I wouldn't dream of leaving early.

Some players maybe don't deserve that support, but mignolet and rose... Even if we finished bottom with 0 points id stay and support the players and staff that deserved it.

Leaving early is very different to staying after to wait for underperforming millionaires to come back out

I reckon PDC will have hated it, probably embarrassed. Looked like he was crying though so may be touched considering the shite we've put up with.

I couldn't get out quick enough....literally.
Stairs were blocked so I nearly saw the very start of the lap of dishonour.
Fuck them, they didn't come to see me when I was bad.

Re: Small time Sunderland

Probably only me this annoyed, but on our 'lap of honour' ( )
We'd just draw 1-1 with soton, we played terrible and lucky to get a point, this puts us 17th and could easily go down, if wigan turn up this season, what do the Sunderland fans sing ...

'We beat the scum 3-0'

:oops::oops::oops:

Ffs man, I was there it was f***ing excellent, but it doesn't mean jack shit now, some people actually said they'd rather beat the mags and go down, it's just f***ing ridiculous man. We'll never progress as a club until when we get over the fascination with them lot.

Love it

Connor Wickham has tweeted "thanks for the support.. especially those who stayed at the end" and the brainless melts who stormed off in a huff have taken offence and started hurling abuse. He's deleted the tweet and replaced it with "why so many angry fans? No digs at anyone in my tweet... Ive Said thanks to our fans for the support not just today but all season round..."

Sunderland "supporters"...

As I don't and will never use Twitter, can you tweet back " do your f***ing job and stay off social media"

The vast majority of us are fed up to the back teeth and have no interest in watching a bunch of overpaid underachievers wander around a pitch at the end of another snoozefest and disgusting performance.

that wasn't my point. My point was the idiots who have taken offence when there was simply nothing in what Wickham said that was offensive. Embarrassing.

Fair enough. You did have a go at the fans who left before the lap of appreciation though earlier in the thread.

I did. There were players on the pitch at the end that deserved support. Not least Danny Rose. Last chance for a proper send-off and 90% of the stadium fuck off home.

Ok, you are a hero.

He got a send off, his name was sung and he went to the South Stand to acknowledge the support.

That was all that was needed. Coming back out was absolutely pointless and ridiculous.

Fuck hanging around for that shower of shite. We were back in The Fountain for 5:15
