The impact on ST renewals

Basically mate, when Boro moved to the Riverside the club decided to reward those fans who had a season ticket at Ayresome and they were given priority for tickets/events over newer season ticket holders.
Sounds a good idea, but it's hardly a reward to watch the dross that's being served up

It's a little unfair preaching the club need the money imo. We live in an area with little disposable income and at a time that the cost of living is high. The cost of a family of four going to the match could be a chunk towards the family holiday or saving for Christmas. People are perfectly entitled to look after themselves before SAFC.

Your last sentence is spot on mate, but I would argue that those that continue to go should be heavily rewarded and a two tiered SC system should be introduced to reflect loyalty.

I also agree about the disposable income bit and without doubt, it’s been an issue for the club when it’s come to ticketing policy for years. That said, and as unpopular as it may be, the club need to do more to improve revenue by heavily pushing SC/memberships.

I love my holidays abroad mate. My wife is a primary school teacher though so we're restricted to school holidays, so going away costs a fortune especially with two kids. The season ticket money and what it costs to go to away games would a long way towards paying to get away in the summer.

These are the kind of comments Donald needs to take very seriously. As GOM pointed out on another thread we're looking at £400k for every 1,000 drop in sales. Apparently they are factoring in around 6-7k but a potential 10k drop. This loss of revenue also affects the salary cap ratio so the numbers represent a disaster for Donald personally and the club in general. All eggs in Parky's basket is a very brave and potentially very foolish move.

You support the owner above what's best for the football club
If you learn to read you would see I said I support the team, if your a millionaire then buy the club, some on here seem to think owners can just walk away from a club
Thanks. Tell yer mates to do the same!

My mates still go to games and always will
Effort and commitment? You’ve been smoking something mate - need your eyes resting. This is the single worst and ununified squad I’ve ever witnessed. They don’t deserve a second of my time. I’ve been twice since September, won’t be returning until something changes and have even stopped purchasing the away games I can’t attend on SAFSEE - last season I watched all 46 games in one capacity or another. Just cannot be bothered this year, it’s absolutely awful to watch and I’ve sat through more than my share of shite in the 22 years I’ve had a season ticket that I’m now finished, until something changes
Sorry but you must be watching a different game, you need to learn to understand football if you don’t think this set of players are trying. Playing shite and not trying are 2 separate things which a some on her can’t understand
Maybe if king donald didnt oversee such failure, it wouldnt be like this.
If you think he’s a king then that’s your opinion

I admire you're commitment to farce, and refusal to see action needs to be taken, like an early world war one general in fact, don't worry lads keep going over the top, we are sure the german's haven't got their machine guns this time.

Fans are fickle they'll soon be back when they are given a bit of hope. All it took last time was a couple of southerners who weren't Ellis Short.

Couple of straightforward questions for you marra.

1) Do you think the players are playing with fear and lack of confidence.

2) If yes, whose fault is it.

I know you've had that opinion for a while now mate and I've always agreed giving free/cheap tickets away in the Premier League has impacted us. However from a personal point I'm really not bothered about been rewarded for loyalty. I just want to enjoy going to the match, nowt else.

The above is why SD and co should be focusing on keeping existing SC holders, rather than trying to get a couple of hundred fairweathers to come back. If they just do the usual renewal nonsense, they are fucked

Yes, and it’s the managers fault, which is what I have already said

When have I ever said no action needs to taken !!!? They need to sack PP

Absolutely. It can take an awful lot for a SC holder to not renew but once they've done it they might never go back. There's no way I'm committing in April as there's no way of knowing where we'll be playing next season or who will be in charge. He needs a massive rethink on the issue.

I know I sound like a broken record mate 😂, but I just find us unbelievably frustrating at times. I don’t need praise for renewing, but it’s obvious the club need to find a way to stop people packing in SCs (sacking parky would be a start 😂). If people still do walk away, then they need to be ready with plan B to push the benefits of memberships

As the club monitor this board, I’m hoping if I repeat myself enough eventually someone will pick up on it 😂

or you could just do this. @Ghandi Floss, something for the list for next time.

Obviously this situation is absolutely dire. It's the lowest of the low.

Final ST payment forthcoming, anyone binning it off and therefore their ST?

Or is anyone, for the first time, seriously contemplating not renewing their ST next year ?
Travelling up from Mansfield is getting harder. I’ve already binned if the Tuesday night games. I was sat there on Saturday really thinking about next season and how board my 10 year old looked whether I will renew next season. Then I remembered I’m red n white through n through and will stick with the lads. Yes I give them shite but will always support my team no matter what

He has said hes turned down loads of offers. So he could leave. Or do you not believe him?

If they get it right, it will stop a lot of people from cancelling. Ultimately there are plenty of things they can do which won’t cost much (if anything) and it will appease the fan base.
