The impact on ST renewals

I'll be paying the last instalment as normal, but renewal is highly unlikely. Yesterday was my first game since October. I saw nothing to make me rush back

Went yesterday. First since October too.

Even spending Boxing Day with the in-laws next year is looking more appealing

it takes a lot for fans to have this reaction imo, any damage done is solely down to owners. They are taking fans for granted (or for idiots) and have made mistake after mistake.

fans have been outstanding imo while we’ve been dropping through the leagues, they backed new owners and increased season tickets. Fans will only take so much though

Mate, I get that but if thousands walk away then the financial impact will be massive. Personally I believe it was just make things worse.

2 x adult and 2 x kids renewals for me. For some reason my daughter still loves going. I've had a season ticket for 23 years and if it wasn't for my daughter I would seriously consider packing it in.

They were happy to sit on podcasts taking credit for the increase on our income last season though weren't they, stating that they had done such a good job etc when in reality the income was down to the fans supporting the team in numbers.

I don't blame anyone, but god this is absolutely devastating to read.

Call me fickle, but I temporarily stopped going in the 17/18 championship season. I made my return to semi-regular games in 2018 following the burst of optimism as I felt my support was the best I could do for the club in facing league one.

Now however (although I am an exile so it's moot), no more. I won't even stop up on saturday night to watch us. I've long stopped wasting money on SAFCsee only to get frustrated and bored to tears.
Safcsee is a thing of the past for me.

I’ve been going for more than 50 years and I’ll not give it up as long as I've got my health and a few quid in my pocket. I’m far from happy but owners and players are just transitional people largely, here today, gone tomorrow, supporting a club is for life and I won’t give them up.

After the end of last season and the Wembley debacle, combined with the birth of my son in June I decided I would attend on a match by match basis.

I’d previously had a season card since the Stadium opened.

I went to the Oxford game, Coventry and yesterday and I can honestly say I haven’t missed it one bit. I live in Northumberland and the journey there and back just isn’t worth it.

I missed spending the day with my family yesterday and as soon as I saw the team sheet I instantly regretted my decision to attend. Boxing Day used to be the best fixture of the year.

Obviously this situation is absolutely dire. It's the lowest of the low.

Final ST payment forthcoming, anyone binning it off and therefore their ST?

Or is anyone, for the first time, seriously contemplating not renewing their ST next year ?

I’ve already paid my 4!

I genuinely cant think of anything worse than going and watching that shite like

this season tickets is my biggest waste of money ever

Cancelled the last direct debit and not a chance I'll be renewing next season even if Donald and Parkinson are gone.

Will pay final installment, but in all likelihood will not renew next season.
Having said that, if we do see some investment in this upcoming transfer window, that may change.
Sadly, I can only see us bring in more free transfers and loans at the expense of actually trying to strengthen
our current squad.
One thing we can be sure of, is that whatever "Investment" is made, the club will spin the story better than a politician.

Donald doesn’t deserve one penny of fans money

He’s invested so little of his own money yet is demanding 30-50 mill

Disgrace

I hated yesterday

I sat in silence

I’d have barely clapped if we got a last minute winner

Awful feeling when you’ve been so emotionally invested in something since a bairn

Canny damming this like. I was intrigued to see what people's thoughts were. The sheer number of people who won't renew is very significant.
