The impact on ST renewals

Seriously thinking of not renewing next season if we persevere with Parkinson.

It’s not so much the league we’ll be in it’s just the football.

Ive stopped getting any enjoyment out of it at all in fact now quite the reverse it just gets me down.

A thread on twitter at the moment is 99% not renewing next season. Killer is that most of these non renewals are adult plus young kid. This season will cost us a generation. The difference last time in Div 3 was that the success (all be it winning the 3rd Div) cemented the dedication of a generation. Sad times & long term damage being done to the fan base.

I'll be renewing so aye, that would be canny like! Maybe a quid off every pint bought at the ground or something if they can bring the catering in house! Do they still allow free upgrades to BCB? That used to be canny but I've not tried to get one for a while, seem to remember it has stopped, bring that back! Wouldn't expect much like but they'll need to try something to convince people to keep going, hate to think how low the sales will be next season if nowt changes

Mate there’s loads of things they can do really. For me, I’d like the idea of a discount on food and drink, but I’d also like them to create a two tiered SC system.

Those that renew/purchase before the cut off are tier 1; those that don’t will be tier 2 when/if they decide to come back. Tier one folk will be given priority access to tickets/events to reward the fact they stuck by the club

What happens if you cancel your direct debit, do you just lose your season card, there’s no financial implications like them chasing you for the rest of the money ?
I might be wrong but i think the only thing will be you no longer be able to buy a season ticket by direct debit. I've no idea if it will impact credit score or owt like that.

I'm sure the reason they do large payments spread out is so that it's not an official agreement that will do credit checks.
No chance I'm renewing unless it gets drastically better. I'm not watching another season of tin pot teams dominating us at home.

Donald sends a couple of heavies around. They tie you to a chair and force you to watch videos of us defend corners with everyman in the box, and then Power lashing it to the ghost who is on the halfway line.

I stopped going after 44 seasons after the Moyes debacle. I just don't miss it. Seen us 4 times since and game 5 will be Sunday at Doncaster.

Obviously this situation is absolutely dire. It's the lowest of the low.

Final ST payment forthcoming, anyone binning it off and therefore their ST?

Or is anyone, for the first time, seriously contemplating not renewing their ST next year ?
I'd say it is going to be Catastrophic come renewal time.

I’ve had a season card for 27 years and was a regular prior to that, including out last ‘adventure’ in league 1.
This is the first time in over 30 years that I’ve seriously considered not renewing and not going next season.
Its one thing that is making me feel like this, it’s the lack of any direction on and off the pitch leading to the dire soulless football we are currently turning out.
If Parky turns things around after a cracking January transfer window no one will be happier than me, but I’m not holding my breath.

Fuck it I’ll just pay the last payments, I’ll decide wether to renew or not later

The one thought that always comes to me when I read threads/posts like this one is the subject of Loyalty points......if you don't renew, you lose your points.

If you're SC holder with say 10 points, then you've lost nothing. But if your an uber with 70, 80, 90 or well over 100 points you'd lose the lot and have to start all over again.

I’ll lose 60 points, it’s the least of my worries. The club is a total joke and doesn’t deserve any support.

I’ll pay the last instalment but definitely won’t be renewing if Donald is still here. 8 people in my family are the same.
Same here. Three tickets won’t be getting renewed next year and that’s after 30 odd years being a season ticket holder. Club are taking the mick out of the fans and it needs a massive change to stop the rot. Nothing the supporters can do about it unfortunately.

How did these owners expect to do better this season when they didn’t attempt to put last season’s glaring weaknesses right? Was not investing in bigger, faster, better players just going to happen by magic? I had to give my SC up but I’m pleased I did now. I can barely listen to commentaries anymore. It is shamefull how the fans have been treated in the last few years. It was sickening returning home after games after defeat on top of defeat in the PL but this is beyond belief.
