The happy clappers have had their time

Which part of it is utter horse shit please, darling?

I know you and many other posters live such tedious existences you have no option but to resort to making up lies on the internet. I'm not one of them people. Hope this helps!
"our fanbase is infested with apathetic mouth-breathers who couldn't give a fuck if we were relegated the next 7 seasons"
That bit NO ONE is happy with getting relegated just because he don't have a complete meltdown because the scum have won a cup doesn't mean we're happy to be relegated
The since KLD has came in we have progressed massively both on and off the pitch just because it's not instant doesn't mean it isn't happening if you can't see that's you've got something serious wrong with you

I dont think the majority would enjoy relegation, but i really believes a select few would be dying to get online the minute the final whistle went telling everyone they told them so. Its a weird mentality ive never understood as a football fan but people thrive off it. Remember seeing so many people who appeared happy to be right when we went down to league one. Whether its some sort of way of coping with the fact theyre angry about it or whatever, im not sure, but it just spreads negativity

What are you talking about? When people can see it, warn of it and get ignored then of course they are going to say I told you so. It doesn’t make them happy about.

The second we dropped out of the top 2 I posted on here that we wouldn’t find ourselves back. I was spot on, because the signs were there, but I’m f***ing gutted about it.

When our January window fizzled into nothing, people said we would go backwards. We have. Nobody it desperate to say they told you so. They’re gutted.

Just because someone can see the flaws and point out the flaws does not mean they are dying to say I told you so.

I know for a fine fact we won’t get promoted this season. We don’t have the mentality. You have been able to see it with your own eyes for months. Would I love to proved completely wrong? Absolutely.

If there was aggravation at matches in the short era when we were in the PL, why is the fanbase so accepting of where we are now?
Because we have improved season on season since the new owners have came in.

After 45 years, I have seen plenty ups and downs, the Cowie years, when we weren't happy with Bob, the good the bad and the ugly.

I can tell you this is not the worst we have been and I am happy with are making steady progress without putting the club at risk.

Let me ask you one simple question, would you be willing to risk the clubs existence on the roll of a dice to "make it" in the top league? I am not, I would rather the clubs long term future is solid than risk it.

Slow steady progress the right way isnt settling by the way, its still progress. I remember bouncing around the middle of the 2nd div, playing some god awful stuff at Roker park when it was falling apart, I have seen much worse than we have it now.

Have to agree to disagree on this one. So many people are negative about near enough everything to do with the club week in week out. Its a weird way to support a football club in my opinion

It’s actually mental how many people who claim to be Sunderland fans find anything and everything to moan about.

We’re pretty much guaranteed a playoff place and promotion is very much a possibility.

Why can’t people just enjoy this period and the fact we have a very promising young side?

Clapped us out of the PL. Clapped us out of the championship.

Clapped a sunderland fan wishing Charlton fans well in 2019. Clapped them after defeats to Lincoln and Luton in the playoffs.

Critical of any fan who dares to say anything against the club. Defended the ownership after KLD was proven to have lied to the fans (those loans been turned into equity yet?)

It’s time for a bit of pressure on the hierarchy. Time for them to see that it’s not acceptable for SAFC to be plying their trade outside of the PL, and their loyal and numerous fans will not accept anything else.

This doesn’t mean change of manager, change of ownership or change of the overall business plan.

It means that our longest spell outside of the PL in history, or hoping to “find form” going into a playoff campaign, isn’t young to be accepted as acceptable.

6 times champions of England, 2 time FA cup winners, 10th in the overall top flight table, let’s start acting like it. Owners, directors, coaches, players & fans. What we’re currently seeing isn’t good enough and it’s incumbent on us all to sort the fucker out.
What would you propose?

What an embarrassing, entitled, juvenile post.

Nobody has a right to play in the Premier League just because they won things years ago. Fan base sadly doesnt count for much anymore as it used to be the main source of income but now it is miniscule compared to the tv incomings and other sponsorships.

Leeds were out of the prem for 16 years, forest over 20, and theres us demanding to be back just a few years after nearly going bankrupt and owned by some lads who have went on to run eastleigh and oxford....

Frustration and ambition both play a part, but this post is just toys out of the pram mentality. We are currently in the playoff positions im not sure what kore we could want given the severe financial advantage the 3 above us have currently
Second Division club and a set of cheating bastards to boot.

Forest anarl while we're at it, except for the cheating part.

I would agree myself if there were things to be positive about right now. The team is going backwards, home games are a chore again, we didn’t bother in January and we are looking very likely to be spending about a decade outside of the top flight.

It’s not like we are in the top 2, or in the PL fighting for a European spot and people are being negative. The negativity is a reflection of us going backwards again.
