Weren't the Canterbury Tales televised (albeit in a modernised adaptation) by the BBC 10 or 15 years ago? Quite good, from what I remember.

BBC did another one in the 70's, Trinity Tales. The premise was a minibus of Wakefield Trinity Rugby league supporters going to the cup final, each person on the bus telling a tale. I was only 14 or 15 but I remember it was very good

Not really, there was a quick flash of nipple in one scene but then they had the kind of sex that conveniently doesn't allow the camera to catch the good stuff.

Reviews have been good so far. I've read the book and think it will make a fascinating series.

Book was pretty good, not sure I'll watch this though, unless they make it in the same way as Game of Thones!
