The final straw..

The harper that came in and didn't play a single minute lol

Yes. That was the point, he's been brought in as cheap, experienced cover. Hopefully his minutes will be minimal but needs must. The fact people need this explaining to them is worrying as it's not like the club are making put this is a marquee signing FFS.

That's it for me. We must be the laughing stock of football with Lescott signing to join the other ex Everton players. What does Moyes think a player who was released by Aston VIlla and had his contract terminated by some Greek club after 4 months can possibly do for our club?
I have been a season ticket holder for 50 plus years and seen numerous debacles from this club.......BUT never anything like this, throwing in the towel, going down without a fight.
I will not be attending any more matches until Moyes and Short leave our club.
HA'WAY THE LADS( I doubt whether many of the present squad know what it means)
See ya marra, sad to lose long time fans but the club couldn't give a sh!t.

You won't be missing much while Moyes is here.

Doubt I'll bother with the Spurs game. Mind I said that about the Chelsea game and ended up going.

fair play to you

He's probably just took to many kicks to the nuts Chris, sounds like he's been a long time supporter, there's only so much a person can stomach, half the fuckers on here giving him grief have only just started out on that road, lets see how they feel 40 years down the line.
Then he should kna better!

If you can stomach the 15 point season you should be able to take this.

Mag like behaviour? When did Newcastle get a monopoly on being upset and frustrated by incompetent owners?

Did they patent protests some time post 2006? As before then we protested our owners as much as them.
"Not going back 'til so and so has left". It's ridiculous.

I remember being part of a Fulwell crowd that wanted to sack the board back in 93/94. Yet a couple of years we're in the Premier League with a new stadium on the way - and with the same board.

Your opinion, my decision.
It is aye.

Needs to be a protest arranged against Ellis Short, I know Newcastle did it and it got Ashley of his arse to sort it out and do something. Short has sat back and watched from afar, he does not go to games and not bothered what happens. I'm quite surprised at how easy he has got it from the fans, there really hasn't been strong support in the stands for Ellis Short to go. As for not going back to the matches I don't blame you, save your money.
Errrrrr, what exactly did he do like?

And where exactly to you propose Short goes? I am far from a supporter of his but it is his club, he does own the shares, and you can't simply walk away from that and just give somebody else a go.

I've already got a company manufacturing Everland scarfs and for £5 I think they're decent, they'll keep you warm whether you're at Goodison or the SoL

Who wants one ?

Come on, stand back, please form an orderly queue, no need for all the pushing, there's enough for everyone.

They were exactly the same type of signings and look where we ended up, could we be on that journey again?
The difference is though that McMenemy brought them in out of choice. Moyes is bringing them in out of necessity.

After 50 years .....mainly of utter dross....I think you deserve more respect for your decision. There comes a time when it's just not worth it![/QUOTE

No he doesn't. Supporting a football team is a choice. You want to give it up, fine but don't make a big deal out of something so insignificant. The days of Shankly and football is more important than that are long passed. Now the team only matters to sponsors and agents

I wouldn't blame jordan Pickford or Jermaine Defoe asking for Transfers now... Lescott FFS
The most clear signal of lack of ambition you will ever see.

Defoe crying out for a bit of help and we bring in a gerriatric to punt more 60 yard aimless balls at him:oops:

It's the younger fans I fear for. I personally couldn't give a fuck if we go down as I'm sick of season after season of struggle but I'll still go. But I take my 11 year old daughter with me and all she has known is 40 odd thousand every game in the prem. She got the shock of her life the other week at the Burnley cup game at the sparse crowd and shit atmosphere. I fear we could lose a generation of fans if we stay out of the premier league

Well I won't be disrespecting someone who has watched Sunderland for so long. Message for the young uns, years and years of misery do finally take it's toll on you, whether you think so or not.
I've had the life sucked out of me and going to the game never gives me a buzz anymore, it's a chore. I'll still go though as there is nowt else to do and I get to spend time with my son and my friends. I wouldn't blame anyone who decided to stop right now

Exactly how I felt in the last few seasons I attended, it was all about catching up with mates for me. The night they threw me out for using an e-cig was the perfect excuse to stay away. I don't miss it but every defeat still hurts.
