It would be nice if they could create a fund to give to Durham and receive shares in return which could give contributors some kind of say in the running of the club. Just dreaming.

But why so late in launching this initiative? Wouldn't it have had a better chance if launched last October? I'm all in support, but imo the heat has gone out of this. The cricketing world has moved on and whilst we might get murmerings of sympathy from commentators like Rob Key last week, that ain't gonna light any fires.
