Even if it’s Austria v North Macedonia at the SOL I would be there in a heartbeat. It'll be English fans only
Errrh every other countries had the same year. Actually no they haven’t, we’ve a higher death rate than anywhere in mainland Europe. Letting fans travel from abroad will have us locked down again just in time for next season. Will be some buzz if we manage to go all the way after the past year we’ve had, you never know![]()

Nah Sturgeon the pint snatcher has been pretty consistent of her hatred of football so can see it all going to EnglandDo you think the Hampden games will happen? I hope if they do they'll be behind closed doors as if not I'll have to work the games.
Which is why it won’t happen like that. UEFA just want bums on seats and the ££££ that goes with it, more chance of them achieving that here than anywhere else with the Exception of Russia. It’ll be a Brits only tournament, dare i say Swiss delegates would find a way to get the big games though.Errrh every other countries had the same year. All restrictions on social contact lifted June 21st, if that moves forward by 2 weeks (or 10 days to be precise) then we are laughing
I’ve suspected for quite a while it’ll be a one nation tournament, the idea of a tournament as north as Saint Petersburg, as east as Baku and west as Dublin was never going to be a goer in the current climate. Russia even now despite few vaccinations have indoor and outdoor sport at 50% of capacity, I always suspected Great Britain/England or them would get the full thing.Ah right didn’t realise they could move it.
It’s a huge ask to have spectators in stadiums for this the timescale is too short for full houses.
To organise it in 8 weeks is a big ask.
Plus the bloke who tweeted it might be full of shit.

Didn’t say anywhere in my post that we’ve had it any worse, just said it would be a great feeling after the year we’ve had. Like it would be for most competingErrrh every other countries had the same year. Actually no they haven’t, we’ve a higher death rate than anywhere in mainland Europe. I think the problems of the EU's vaccination programme has been vastly distorted in the Tory press. Things will be really ramping up there on the continent in the next week or two. Vaccine passport/certificate... job's a good'un.If it means tens of thousands of Europeans travelling here then I'd rather not host it, regardless of the potential boost to economy.
The risks would far outweigh any financial boost. However if this was not the case then fantastic let's get it hosted.
21st June it’s back to normality (apparently) England vs Czech Republic 22nd JuneAre there likely to be fans allowed in the grounds ?
