Eh? If it works and folk just turn up, nod and agree then what difference does it make for the clubs?
No one wants this to go on any longer than necessary. You're a fan, you'll stop going, you're not alone in that. People will go along with it while things start reopening, there's no other option.

For example, Spurs have just spent a billion quid on a new stadium which is all about fan experience and keeping people around for longer, better vibe in the ground etc. They'll piss all that away if they're enforcing mandatory shite measures.

Well I hope you're right mate but I have my doubts. I'm sure clubs, back in the day, didn't want to rebuild their stadiums to become all seaters yet here we are. I do have concerns.

Aye I'm sure football clubs are happily gonna want people wearing masks and social distancing losing even more money than they already have

That’s how vaccine passports will be introduced by stealth. They’ll “trial” them in scenarios like this then they’ll become the accepted practice.

Leads onto DNA databases and we’re off down the rabbit hole.
Take me down the rabbit hole with you. Why would DNA databases be more useful than other means of tracking, who would control them etc?

It’s information that could be gleaned from the DNA databases such as genetic preponderance to diseases, hereditary information etc, even links to crimes which could be passed to 3rd parties such as insurance companies, employers, police & other government agencies.

but if this gets me on a flight to the Faroes V Scotland game I wouldn’t give a shiney.

Looks like the Basque government has told UEFA they won't be able to meet the reduced capacity criteria for San Mamés, Bilbao to be one of the host stadiums. Instead it looks like it's going to Seville.

I'd say it's a decision by the Basque government based on the fact they don't want the Spanish national team playing games in Bilbao rather than Covid.

Looks like the England tickets are all being refunded and a new ballot run.

Games from Dublin moved to St Petersburg & Wembley so if England progressed it would be Wembley all the way.

Bilbao games moved to Sevilla.

This just for the England supporters club or UEFA Ballot? I have Czech Republic tickets.

So is it just a ballot for members
Yes, members who DID NOT cancel tickets after initial purchase.

Members who did cancel tickets after initial purchase will be balloted for the knock out rounds only.
These ballots will be game by game after the group stage should England progress.
Are we able to have 10 k for play offs
Ought to be 21,000 really, considering they are doing that for the F A Cup Final.

Ahh I had tickets but not membership, and I agree but they don't follow logic

Probably worth remembering next time some mad bastard on here claims UEFA hate England that they've given us a European Championship that's held all across Europe where - if we win our group - every single game bar one will be held at the national stadium

To be fair they love money more than they hate England. England games at Wembley would all be sell outs with massive corporate takings as well. The fact a lot of games have been at Wembley will no doubt be used as an excuse not to give us a full, nationwide tournament any time soon
