I know Koke is absolute quality and hes techincally better but every time I watch Atletico i'm impressed with Gabi. He leads so well and he never seems to stop running! His pressing when the opposition have the ball is brilliant, he knows when to stand off and when to dive in. He and Koke compliment each other brilliantly.

A couple of big games this weekend in Serie A: Inter-Roma tomorrow night and on Sunday we have Juve-Milan.

In Ligue 1 we have Marseille-PSG anarl.

I'm really looking forward to Inter v Roma, it's a tough game to call with both sides in form and it will give us a better idea of which, if any, of these 2 teams can challenge for the Scudetto. I think a draw is the most likely result but would love to see a Roma win. The other 2 games you've mentioned will be fairly comfortable for Juve and PSG imo.

Bayer Leverkusen V Bayern could be a very good match tomorrow as well although I expect another Bayern win.

Garcia looks to have been an excellent appointment for Roma, they have under-achieved massively in the last 2 seasons with the players they've had at their disposal but they have looked very good so far.

He's done an outstanding job, especially considering the players they've sold. He's even got Gervinho playing well again.:lol:

Serie A looks good this season. A lot of teams looking dangerous. Nice to see Roma at the top too.
I nearly spat my drink out the other week when I saw Gervinho scored a double.

It's no surprise really that Garcia is getting the best out of Gervinho - he managed him when he was doing so well at Lille as well. Agree with you about Serie A, there have been plenty of goals so far this season as well, not the boring league people used to claim it was.

Aye, that's true. I read a decent article about Garcia and Roma the other day. Not a bad read.
There's some good players hanging around the teams who aren't considered the big ones too.

Who's your prediction for the Scudetto? I noticed Barzagli came out and suggested Juve need to change their approach to games.

Juventus are the obvious favourites but I'm backing Napoli. I think they have a good team, a world class striker, Hamsik coming into his prime and a very good manager. I think an early exit from the Champions League will help them as well. They're a bit suspect in defence though, but Rafa had them looking fairly solid with a back 4. I'd love it to be Roma though, Totti is a god and they way they've started this season is incredible. I guess we'll find out how serious a challenger they are after tonight.

Napoli do look good. Callejon has started well and of course Higuain is deadly. Their midfield isn't too shabby either with the Swiss trio.

Agree on Roma. I really like them. They've added some good players and of course have Totti (wouldn't think he was 37) and De Rossi.

I wish I had BT Sport.

Nice to see our Eastern European football expert back on the thread. I'm just an amateur who looks at the big leagues.

Why is that a good game mate? A bit of a rivalry or they both playing well?

Yes, theirs abit of a rivalry to it but they've both made an excellent start to the season. Metalist are top and unbeaten, Dnipro are second having lost one. You've also got Wisla Krakow vs Legia warsaw tomorrow.
