Well, it's the second chance in serie A, after Lecce, and he is showing he can't manage at this level at the moment.. He was better in serie B, coaching a team that can play offensive football, fight to win.. he is struggling with a poor team trying to implement his philosophy, bit of Di Canio type of difficulties.. even Antonio Conte was struggling and got sacked in Atalanta, cos he couldn't obtain results in serie A with a weak side( while he was doing great with good serie B sides). It's really tough for coaches that want to play "attractive" football to coach poor sides, cos it tends to finish with a terrible defensive side that concedes many goals :D He'd probably do better with a decent side, problem is get in there!

So he would be a good appointment for Sunderland if we're in the Championship next year then? :D

ahhaha.. yea. :D but I mean, even Di Canio would be a good manager in the Championship. These coaches live in the dreams sometimes.. U need at least a middle level team to try and play good football. Otherwise u doomed.. but Di Francesco is an idea for next year, in the worst case scenario :D

So worst case Scenario Di Francesco can get us playing nice football and promoted. :D That is my 3rd choice now then. Obviously I'd rather Di Canio got it right but if he fails and is sacked mid-season I want Marcelo Bielsa. If he keeps us up and then leaves in the summer I want Prandelli after the World Cup :cool:

Haway Roma[DOUBLEPOST=1379854954][/DOUBLEPOST]Lazio fans with a more novel way in voicing their disappointment over the club's perceived lack of ambition in the transfer market.

Wonderfully observed minutes silence.

A chance at last.

Not sure whether Gervinho was going for goal or looking to head it across, the right contact on the latter and it was surely 1-0 Roma.[DOUBLEPOST=1379857767][/DOUBLEPOST]45 minutes of my life I'll never get back, can Zeman take over one of the sides for the next 45?

Balzaretti in tears, been a much better 2nd half. Roma have been so much better since Ljajic came on.[DOUBLEPOST=1379860390][/DOUBLEPOST]JBL would be proud of that clothesline from Lorik

Cana still giving away fouls all over the shop

Pretty flat atmosphere for this one too. Game isn't help much mind

Totti and Cana have been the pick of the bunch for me, both have been terrific.

Roma penalty now.[DOUBLEPOST=1379861673][/DOUBLEPOST]2-0

Should be a very good race for 3rd this season. Roma and Inter have looked very good so far, Fiorentina are absolutely superb going forward but very suspect defensively whereas Milan should stay in contention as long as Balotelli stays fit.
